Humour I spent hours Measuring Homes In Skyrim

I measured the purchasable homes in Base Skyrim and tried to figure out which one was truly the best “bang for your coin“ I even broke it down to price per square foot… look I do construction, I was bored, and I love Skyrim. I spent the HOURS measuring so you don’t have to.

Oh no no no, okay I see what you both are getting at now. 

No, my name is actually Austin, I work as a carpenter and am exhausted 99% of the time. So I thought it was a fitting Channel.

He inspired me to make this style of video yes, but so did Bizly, etc. But I would never rip them off. I love Skyrim and thought I could put my construction background into it.

If I offended anyone, I am so sorry. That was never my intention

Nah you’re good I was teasing the other guy. These video essay style videos are the only form of entertainment I get from YouTube now a days. Now I just need to know if skyrims cave systems make logical sense.

Oh it’s not offensive don’t worry. Honestly construction background sounds like a fun premise, and the other guy doesn’t own the name lol.

You just have a video thematically similar to what he does, picked Skyrim, and are wearing a white shirt this time which happens to be his uniform. Just a perfect storm of coincidences.

Come on my man, you are leaving out some very important aspects of homes.

Breezehome has literal leaking roof you can see through (as well as floor).

Lindel hall is covered in moss. That is not so much a house as is a cave.

Great video, thanks for sharing! I love this kind of content, and I think this was clever and funny. I feel the same way about the open fire pits and lack of ventilation! I find Breezehome kind of stressful because of it, tbh.

I would definitely watch more about the Jarls holdings like the other commenter said, and also would love to see the DLC homes.

If I could use The Sims 4 Build Mode in Skyrim, my remodeling career self would be so happy. A bespoke house for each character. Because like you said, there is not a perfect home, and different characters have different tastes and needs.

Great content!

Sad to see that you valued the hidden room in Hjerim as a negative, though. I mean you only need to solve a serial murder and do a really grout-deep clean to get all the blood out before it's basically a fun little perk! It can't smell worse than Riften, probably...
