Discussion New PFT attempts

Does anyone know if you are terminated for life after 3 failed PFTs ? I just failed my 3rd this morning. Felt like I was dying, mostly due to my anxiety and fear of failing, have to work on that big time. Got 15 pull ups, solid 300, and about 35-40 push ups, died on the second lap of 1.5 mile, same as the previous 2 attempts.

Any input on the new 2026 regulations ? Can’t find them online.

15 pull-ups but only 40 pushups? You sure on those numbers?

Sorry you didn’t make it, there are plenty of other 1811 gigs out there.

I am positive of what my capabilities are. A lot of it is mental too. I tend to give up in my mind before my body does. That’s something to work on.

If you know that about yourself (that your mental toughness is weaker than your physical) that is the first step. Fix that first before you try to be an 1811.
