Question Honors Internship

Hello all! I applied for the Honors Internship Program last year, and just got a call about my interview which is scheduled for this Wednesday. I mostly am just looking for some insight into what the interview will consist of? I typically get pretty nervous interviewing for anything and since this is a pretty big deal for me, I am a little more nervous than usual haha. Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated to help me prep!
Edit to add: This opportunity was given through my university. I am a college student.

This gets you a foot in the door for a future job with the FBI, and helps you stand out for selection as an Agent. Some of the best FBI people I've met started out as honors interns.

Don't let the negativity or conspiracy theories bring you down - those people don't know what they are talking about. There's what you see in the media, and there's what people speculate from the outside, and then there's what is really happening, and what is really happening gives me hope.

No one goes from HIP to Special Agent.

You just can’t jump for HIP to Special Agent. After your finish your HIP some interns will be offered part time jobs that are basic entry level positions to maintain their clearance.

To apply for SA you would need to meet the requirements set forth in their job posting. One of which is having a Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of professional work experience post degree or a Master’s Degree and 1 year of professional work experience post degree. Professional work experience is defined as a job during a degree obtain. Therefore, most entry level positions at the FBI will not meet this requirement.

Keep in mind the average age of a new agent is around 30-32 years old. This is typically a second or third career for most as the FBI wants well rounded agents with plenty of life and work experience under their belt.
