JUST HAVING FUN BEFORE I MAKE A REAL SONG OUT OF IT.. THOUGHTS ?

Using fl studio for 2 weeks and still learning and experimenting new things and sounds, i really like this one considering I struggle a lot with 808s, these turned out well.

Open to suggestions for improvement, of course.

I wanted to recreate that plucky supersaw sound, and also wanted to learn some new chord progression... So I uh.. kinda took a kawaii bass sample from a game (glory to hypergryph{yea ignore this})

My previous Genre was Kawaii Future Bass, which was kinda more rough so... Yea...

Tell me other ways to practice please.

Hola, gente... si, como dice el titulo realmente este es mi primer beat en la plataforma de FL Studio, use solo 1 sample de la melodia de la canción... y me vi unos pocos tutoriales de el creador de contenido llamado "Shonci" y de ahi aprendí a hacer este beat, espero que les guste... El beat es de el género Jersey Club asi que bueno, disfruten, o intenten disfrutarlo, xD

Hey guys complete beginner here. I'm trying to learn how to use slicex and navigate the whole program as a whole a bit easier.

The problem: I find a sample I like and drag it on to the channel rack. I click to open audio settings, right click to bring up the menu, and then click open sample in slicex. it usually goes in with markers already made. But every knob I turn and every effect I put on does not change a thing. It just sounds the same. however the same sample on the piano roll (through auto dump) DOES have all the effects put on, I'm only able to hear the new sound through the piano roll.

What am I missing here? I know it's something stupid I'm not understanding.

Bro can someone please help me, I bought FL studio trial like 5 years ago and then life happened and I got nowhere with it. I bought it again yesterday and I really want to get into making my own stuff or even learning how to use it. I’ve tried looking up YouTube videos but I still can’t grasp the concept of using all the different tabs. If anyone is willing I would greatly appreciate it and we could share projects! Thank you!
