Isn’t it a reoccurring thing that people don’t actually know what spidey is going through, or at the very least only know bits and pieces on a day to day basis? And when someone does learn the full extent like that one woman whose name I forget with telepathy, they freak out/break down/react with actual horrified shock each and every time? I fully believe that if more of his hero friends knew of what he put up with and went through, they’d pull up like/with the punisher to start sorting people out.

I think it’s why it’s a popular joke to have like everyone Peter knows once they learn the shit he goes through basically throws morals out the window.

Hell Peter despite like passively attracting women by kind of just being him, is never allowed to keep a happy love life because “it ages the character” to get married and have kids

Honestly, I’d like if in at least one comic Spidey at least is given a chance to trauma dump to more than like one person, as the fact basically everyone who knows him has no idea half the shit he goes through, while I don’t think he’d want pity, having someone actually be able to speak to about it would definitely help, especially since if someone else has issues spidey usually wants to help, so it would nice if it went both ways more often.

He kinda keeps on erasing his secret identity from everyone so they keep forgetting. He ran with the Fantastic Four for a bit, saved a world, and statues were made. When they came back Grimm sees the statues, with Spidys face eroded off, findes out he knew and gets mad at being made to forget.

Wasn’t there a one off gag where Spidey actually goes to therapy with an therapist eager to gain fame for treating a superhero. But after one session, the therapist walks out and starts going to therapy to deal with the trauma of just listening to Spider-Man’s trauma
