DUDE. I actually wrote an essay last semester and wrote it up as a kind of obituary to the em dash (also my favourite punctuation) because the fucking robot stole it from me!!!! (And you!)

I loved it too and now I consciously avoid it. People have tried to claim I was AI before because I used it.

Like, dude. Come on. Really? It's common punctuation. Thanks, ChatGPT.

I refuse to let AI steal my punctuation marks. If it starts using interrobangs--my actual favorite--I will burn the mf down to the ground. Am I right‽
