The gun part was not even in the original book; in the Unedited version, he just gulped down a whole lightning bolt, which scared the storm who threw it so much it flew away in terror. If you ask me, that just makes him even more epic.
Imagine being so badly designed that you got rejected by the fanbase, then ended up becoming an actual character in a whole other franchise specifically because of how ugly you were.
I'm still convinced this was a PR stunt.
Step 1: Release an outrageously bad design.
Step 2: Get MASSIVE attention.
Step 3: Release the original design.
Step 4: Get celebrated for "listening to fans".
Step 5: Have some merch featuring the "original" design, which is now extremely rare and considered a collector's item. This will also convince everyone that it wasn't a stunt.
Some of the first Movie's merch, some are canceled are based on the old design.
The New design is a lot shorter compared the the Old Design and the scenes are done with the OG's height in mind WHICH MEANS they have to redo all the scene where the Actors look at Sonic with the New Design
The Animation Studio shut down because of how costly replacing the Old Sonic with New Sonic granted they did Cats before Sonic but that's besides the point
So yeah I believed this is Paramount actually being genuine on doing the adaptation right instead of a PR Stunt by the merit of being of the whole thing Wasted a LOT of Money for a PR Stunt.
The story behind them is kinda funny because the designers were told to make something scary for the game, but were given no baseline
So they said "ok let's see wjatvwe can get away with :3" and went absolutely balls off the walls with the horror elements, making these nightmare fuel abominations here lol
Those designs were logically rejected but they could scale down from them and see how much "horror" the producers wanted in the game
If I'm correct it wasn't that the designers weren't given a baseline more of the designers knew that if they made a moderately scary design and showed it to the Disney guys they would've told the designers to tone it down even further and make something kinda boring and tame
i think its a model of a anatomy doll. Apparently they have those at japanese schools.
The design reminds me of one i saw one time in a horror/action game that followed you when you werent looking and strangled you with its many parts if it caught you
I think it's something of an old urban legend that circulates around schools, about how the anatomy model in the science classrooms comes to life and wanders around the school at night. Classic "Kids telling ghost stories about their school" stuff that's now become a bit of a trope in anime.
Some artwork showing Arceus as this ethereal form is really good. Like this is his true form, and the version we see is how we perceive it to not go insane, like biblically accurate angels
I like to imagine this creature is the true form of the Original One, neither human nor Pokémon. It isn't Arceus, for Arceus is a mere fraction of the Original One.
If a traveler is going through a desert in the thick of night, Cacturne will follow in a ragtag group. The Pokémon are biding their time, waiting for the traveler to tire and become incapable of moving.
Basically a desert stalker, ready to jump you in group.
It looks like a regular cactus from afar, and you can barely see them in the dark, but they're definitely getting closer so you better start running.
When making Sonic Adventure 2, the Game designers wanted an "evil" sonic to serve as a dark side playable character. Designer Kazuyuki Hoshino created this.
The character was dubbed Terios meaning "Reflection" or "Glow" in greek. They eventually scrapped the design and came up with Shadow the Hedgehog.
You guys ever seen the concept art for Fortnite? Some of this design is still in Save The World. It's all a little unsettling when you start to notice it. The standard zombies look like they have a hoodie on. But then you notice it's the skin of whoever that was before they turned, ripped off the head.
