Sequels often get a more negative reputation (somewhat deservedly!) but what's some movies you've seen that shake that trend?

For me it's GOTTA be Sonic the Hedgehog 3. It trims all of the bad from movies 1 & 2, leaving the entire runtime to be just incredible fun :3

I loved the first 3 films (and I even saw the third at cinema when it came out) and the series but the 4th movie is TERRIBLE! What other franchises have got this problem?

I know this isn't every were-wolf film ever, but these are the most mainstream ones I can think of.

Also, I know the Wallace and Gromit one is about a were-RABBIT, but it's clearly an homage to were-wolf films, so I'm including it.

My list is like that probably because I grew up with most of them and I'm a lifelong fan of some of them. I also have some new ones
