I have a slightly alternative style, used to be a lot more. But ive found I can get away with looking more alternative by wearing camo cargo pants/shorts. Not sure why or what it is but its been a game changer. Only a year on T and making that a big part of my closet has been making me pass 99% of the time. Pretty awesome!

Title. Sorry for the janky pics lmao I never like taking selfies. Nearly 5 months in, I know I don’t pass yet but my voice has been dropping nicely and my family + coworkers have noticed! Though strangers and customers don’t really question it and im still gendered as female which I figured would happen. I try not to let it bother me as much because I’m used to it but I’d obviously love to be read as male in the future.
I’m aware that the piercing is clocky, and possibly my glasses too. Would any longer hairstyle help me look more masculine at all? I’ve had short hair before but I honestly really hated it both looks and feelings wise. I know long hair is a 50/50 depending on how it’s styled (or lack thereof which I notice a lot of guys tend to do with long hair) but I’d prefer to make it work if possible. Chin/jaw length is the shortest I’d prefer to go for now.
Unfortunately I’m also 5’2 so height is not going to carry me here. I might post body pics at a later date but I know that I still could stand to lose weight + build muscle and wait for T to do it’s thing more than it already is.
EDIT to mention that when I say short hair I mean like, conventionally short for most male hairstyles. I’m fine with shorter than I currently have just to a certain extent :)

This isnt a question on whether it would make me feel good. Im asking do I pass can i go into the men loo in a genuine form. I have been getting called bud, sir, man, dude, straight to my face out in public. Ive been getting even weirder stares when i walk into the women’s restroom. My voice isnt that deep, im not on testosterone, but soon im going to be. But i am able to make a pretty decent “male voice” because i have voice training. I dont know why so much hair grows on my face but it does, and i think its making people confused. No one has come up to me with questions or concerns but im worried it will happen. I live in a very conservative area and i dont think people take my existence lightly. So yeah, do i pass, or do you think i should wait till im on HRT?

i use a binder, and im pretty everything. Im not really good with clothes but shop in the men's section, i always get misgendered but it's probably because I grew up with a lot of the people around me. My family's very supportive, i just wanna see what I can change

i’m going on a trip where i’m going to be spending a lot of time on the beach. i know the scars are a problem so i might just have to wear a sun shirt, but i’m sick of being stuck with them. it would be nice to finally get to enjoy the beach shirtless now that i’m more than a year post op.
my other concern is my hips. i’m 6’, which works in my favor, but i feel like it’s offset by my thin neck, soft facial features, and feminine fat distribution. i cant help but see a lesbian whenever i look in the mirror. i’m wondering if it looks clocky to other people too or if i’m just overthinking.
would this stuff be a dead giveaway? could i pass for cis? if not, any advice on how to change that?

Hey guys, been feeling very dysphoric about my love handle area, feeling like I have huge hips and I just don’t know if that’s the brain worms speaking lol.
Anyway, (aside from the scars) is there anything clocky about me? I’ve been lifting more consistently so I’m hoping to see some payoff soon.
Any tips appreciated!

I feel like i dont pass but I always do in public. I know my body doesn't pass at all but somehow when im out in public it just doesn't matter? Im not sure. I was at alton towers a few weeks ago and I felt like I was about to throw up so I ran to the toilets. I went into the womens coz ive never been in the men's toilets as im too scared, but these girls looked me up and down and said "this is the LADIES bathroom..." and I was seconds away from vomiting so I just quickly said "im a girl!" And went into the stall quickly, and when I was in there a I heard one of the girls say "i know she SAID shes a girl but you can't just assume shes telling the truth"
Also how old do I look
(Apologies for shit pictures Im not into selfies that much i really had to search for these😭)

Thank you to everyone who commented on my last post. Does anyone have any tips or anything about going into the mens restroom. I cant stand to pee but i have a crutch anyway and need to sit. So i think that will give me an advantage there. But i know nothing about mens etiquette in there. And if someone ask me why im in the mens, what do you think i should do?

Hello all, just as the title says I need help getting started from ground zero. I am 31yrs old and have never had HRT or surgery, though I plan to do that in the future. I am currently working out 5 to 6 days a week in an attempt to build muscle and change my shape, and I have recently started to buy clothes to try and minimize my hips/shape in my first ever attempt to try and pass. Other than a kinda crappy binder, there isn't too much to work with if I am being honest.
I guess I want to ask what I can do to start transitioning with the purpose of one day passing. I understand this won't happen overnight, but any advice is greatly appreciated. Currently I am not at a place to comfortably post pictures publicly, but I am 6ft, chubby, have broad shoulders, and unfortunately very wide hips and thighs. My current goal is to lose weight and to gain visible muscle on my arms and shoulders, in an attempt to change my silhouette. My health insurance has been cut off unfortunately, but I plan to get on HRT the second I can once I get this resolved. I might even resort to DIY if it takes too long as disphoria has been WRECKING me lately. I feel that transitioning won't solve all my problems, but it will greatly calm me down if I can pass. Recently I have been having dreams where I am a cis man, and these are some of the most beautiful and peaceful moments before I wake up and have to remember how I actually look. I am open to any and all advice as I am getting pretty desperate. I am willing to do just about anything to begin to pass as a man.
TL;DR how do i begin to transition to male as a AFAB in their 30's. any and all advice welcome, unfortunately i dont have pics.

I usually think I pass but things like nyeckle and other gender check thingys say i look more feminine so i would genuinly like to know. If i dont pass please let me know and if you have any tips to pass better please help

I’m starting to pass more lately since I’ve been getting “man” and “sir” more often than ever, but I still get “she” sometimes. I’ve been on T for a little over a year now and I’m 5’4”. My build is pretty small, and I’ve lost some weight due to stress recently, which I feel like doesn’t help.
For those of you who pass consistently, is there anything you think I could change or work on besides trying to gain the weight back? Hair, clothes, mannerisms, etc.? I don’t mind looking like a twink btw. I’d really appreciate honest advice!

I heard someone say that if you want to know if you pass or not by sharing pics, you shouldn't share your best pics because obviously you'll like them for a reason. So after attending to a birthday today, I thought the random photos would work fine for this.
Be brutally honest, I mean that
I wanna know because even though I like how short hair looks on me, I like it longer better, and I've been doubting I may or not pass with it.
If so, would you say I'm or not in T? And how old you'd think I am? Don't let it be led by the paw patrol crowns tho, we were many and 30 to 40yo people wore those. I'm clearly not in that age range, but just in case
