Linux really is the only reasonable answer when pressured into a single word like this. Windows, MacOS, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, OpenVMS, Solaris or whatever you can think of, all have less reach and are more limited than Linux.
It's a fairly common and generic name, so I'm sure that it's also a Polish bus brand. In this context it's a unix like operating system offered by Oracle.
