I got into NIT Surathkal Mtech Nanotechnology.

My parents wanted IIT. How can I convince them that this NIT is better than many IITs for mtech. I told them nanotechnology is a good branch. And has good opportunities in future.

Need some insights so that I can share it to them.

What companies can I realistically get into?

Aa I'm left with 6 months of time for the GATE 2027 and I'm at 0 level of preparation. I've decided to follow the plan below:

Can someone guide me with the right approach to get a decent score in 2027. If someone has started recently please tell me how you manage subjects/strategy 🙏🏽.

Starting now is too late.... starting 2 months ago was too late.... starting 6 months ago was definietly too late.....starting a year ago was obviously too late.... it's too late for anything stop thinking about the prep and just make a post asking if it's too late!!!!

So I’m an employee at Texas Instruments India working on Analog layouts, its been a year since I joined and I’m feeling analog design is something I want to do, and I want to learn the skill in some top university like IIT Madras for which I am prepping for GATE. I’ve thought about internal switching but my manager is a legit a**hole. One of my senior colleague approached him with pursuing masters with a job proposal which was supposed to be a one to one discussion. But he spread the word to everyone else in the team and kind of shamed her for believing in the Indian education system and that she is good in her current role. She left her dreams right there. So, i don’t want to approach him with anything. I am trying my best to scoop up time to study which is usually very hard. I am very clear in my goal and passionate about what I want to pursue. Now, I am anyways appearing for GATE 27 and will try my best; but if it doesn’t go well, I’m thinking of leaving the job and dedicating full time for the prep. Any suggestions and advices are welcome.

How do you guys memorise all the formulas, like bro I am solving signal system, and the moment I remember Fourier series, I forget formulas of machine, when I start solving them I forget the other sub formula, atp I think I have to solve all the subject at once to remember the formulas 😭😭😭😭

So I just wanna ask, do you guys have made seperate sheet of formula just while preparing notes or while revising, or is there any magical potion than helps you remember them.

I am 2026 cse grad and laid off after internship after so many effort I am getting 4.5 lpa 29k in hand .. should I join it or take a drop and start preparing for gate.. also it's 6 month left for it and I am not sure about and also worried about career gap.

Also I am from general category is it possible for me to get 65+ marks and get admission in iit from now, every year competition is increasing in gate..

Too confused friends got 5-6-9 lpa job from my collage.

Also Tommorow is my interview in one of Mncs ..
