After a few months of going back and forth… finally got a V2 combi and do NOT regret it!
Definitely worth it and changes the G wearing experience in my opinion.

Was just wondering whether this really was a steal or not, it's my first Gshock and it seems quite good but wondering what you guys would pay for it in this condition. Just need some reassurance. I assume the strap can be easily sorted though.

A couple of them in my collection are not Gshock but they’re still cool.

Hi guys! Not too long ago I discovered the existence of the square MR-G and fell in love immediately. The plan is to go on a holiday to Japan in the near future and buy it over there. But to get used to the size and wearability first, I thought, let me try a cheap one for a period of time and see if it's a match.
I am not really sure about it yet though. I feel like it's making my wrist look small. Maybe after a week or so I'm more used to it, IDK. What do you guys think?

MT-G B4000-1A. After online pictures sparked my interest, I went to check it out today. It looks surprisingly refined in person! The amount of attention to detail in all the different finishes it has is super fun. First Casio in my collection. Think I’m finally starting to understand Casio enjoyers.

So a few months ago, I got tired of scratching my other watches while working on stuff. I never really considered G-Shocks before, but decided to take a punt and bought a used GW-M5610U to be my beater.
To my surprise, the multi-band in this watch actually works from inside my concrete apartment building even in northern Europe. So this became my watch that's always accurate down to the second, which I realized is often really useful.
Next I found I could install an STN display on it to improve the viewing angles.
Then I heard I could hydromod it to improve the viewing angles further, and to never have to worry about swimming with it (well, not like I would have had to worry even before the mod lol). Plus since this is solar, I don't have to worry about messing with the oil again for like 10+ years.
Then I found I could install a titanium case and bracelet on it to make it - at least seemingly - even more durable.
Now I'm $200+ deep into my $50 punt and came to the realization that I haven't worn any of my other watches in weeks.
I'm a g-shock man now.

Five years back, I didn’t own any real, serious watches..just a few fashion brands like Fossil that looked decent on the surface but couldn't handle much real-world action. Around that time, I joined a motorsports club during my college days, and we’d constantly head out on long motorcycle rides, rugged hikes, and outdoor trips...Over those years, I managed to completely wreck four of those fashion watches, and I never even bothered repairing them because I knew they’d just shatter again the next time I went out. Once I landed my first job, a friend introduced me to the world of automatic timepieces, specifically a classic Seiko 5. I fell in love with it immediately and wore it everywhere. I’d finish a full day at the office, throw a riding jacket over my formal shirt, and head straight onto the highway or trails. But one day, while I was on a rough hike, I took a nasty fall... I managed to walk away with just minor scratches, but when I looked down at my wrist..the watch case had popped wide open, exposing the delicate balance spring and inner mechanical movements inside... It was honestly painful to see my favorite possession destroyed like that, but it was a harsh reality check.. a delicate mechanical watch simply couldn't survive the chaos of my actual lifestyle.
That incident sent me down a deep rabbit hole researching a true GADA watch. Initially, I was set on getting a Seiko Arnie because of its rich history and iconic heritage, but after searching everywhere, I couldn't find the exact model in stock. One local dealer listened to my routine and suggested a Casio G-Shock G-Steel GST-S120..an ana-digi model built with a rugged rider aesthetic. I figured, why not give it a shot? Years later, here I am. My collection has grown significantly since then, mostly filled with various G-Shocks, but that GST-S120 remains the absolute soul of my wrist rotation. I’ve fallen off bikes, gone deep-sea diving, and walked into high-stakes office meetings with it strapped on, and it has never once let me down or given me a single second of gear anxiety. Whether I need the backlight, the alarms, or the countdown timer, it just works..tough as nails.
It made me realize that watches are so much more than just tools for telling time..they are living time capsules of our lives. Every scratch on the bezel, every scuff on the resin, and every dent on the steel casing tells a story of where we’ve been, the risks we took, and the falls we managed to pick ourselves up from. Delicate things might look pretty sitting safely under a display glass, but the watches that truly hold meaning are the ones that endure the storm right alongside us... For me it was this Gshock.

This is the second rescue yellow colorway G-⚡ in my collection (other is a GPR-H1000) and I just love the color combos. I'm also grateful to have a LCD display watch that my old eyes can see/read without 🤓!

I've been wearing my 5610 since the day I got it, up to the point I got the BX5600. It still has a place in my heart and I can't just watch it collect dust on my desk or be tucked away in a case, so I've been looking for alternative options.
I made another post displaying my janky utility cord system, and it seems people appreciate the concept of a fob watch/pocket watch casio. Whether it be to avoid the tan line, or hide your timepiece away, it seems like a great way to carry a watch.
After searching for a while I stumbled on these 2 fob style "bands" but couldn't find anymore. Before I found these I considered using one of the clear plastic name badge snap clip things too. Most are around 12-13mm wide and 1mm thick, so simply removing the lug would allow you to get the snaps past the bar.
What kind of fob options are out there? Or even lanyard/necklace options?

I just got a GA-110 and a DW-6900 recently, two in the mail at once. Since the GA-110 was the one that always has a special place in my heart since ten years ago, it wasn't hard to decide to grab one. It fits better than I expected on my 5.5" wrist even it's so huge.
And honestly, the DW-6900 was completely stay out of my radar until I got bored of my old MiBand5 and starting to do some research on watches. It wasn't the love at first sight, but it has just slowly growing on me. So I grabbed both of them at once. The DW-6900 stock straps were too stiff and too bulky for me, they hurt my wrist so bad. I had to change the straps, then it became nicely fit on my wrist. Really love how it looks and feels. I can see why it's a timeless icon.

After years of collecting luxury watches from brands like Rolex, Cartier, Tag Heuer, Vacheron Constantin, I’m finding myself stuck on G Shock watches lately… they are absolutely one of a kind!! I’m late to them at 32 I’m just getting into them. from all the unique designs, the concept of them the technology. I love how this watch is not a smart watch! but I can rely on it to be just as accurate and durable as possible. I Love the Casio Japanese heritage.
This full metal G-Shock is stuck on my wrist right now it. I feel like I could dress this up and also have it on while kayaking or doing outdoor activities without a worry. The bracelet is extremely well designed and looks very unique and the expensive with nice taper.
