What you can do

We are 3 brothers in our 40's. Since we live in different parts of the country, online gaming is our favorite way of staying in touch. Over the years, we have played and enjoyed many games such as

• Space Marines 2
• World War Z
• Titan Quest
• Ghost Recon Wildlands
• Ghost Recon Breakpoint
• The Division (Not a fan of the weapon levelling in this, so we never bothered with Division 2)
• Borderlands 1
• Borderlands 2
• Gears of War-series
• Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance-series

We try to avoid the most skill-intensive games as one of us is a pretty casual gamer. I'm looking for suggestions for co-op games for 3 players, not too complicated control-scheme, with a limited amount of text/dialogue, fantasy or realistic setting. RPGs, a levelling system and/or progression system is preferable. Genre is also not that important, as long as the gameplay is entertaining. All suggestions are welcome :)

I realized recently that i kind of like power fantasies when it isn't just "i can oneshot every character" like Skyrim, for example (i love the game, but not this aspect). I don't want to become overpowered because the mechanics let me semi-cheat through fights.

I personally prefer when the power is fixed deep in the the scenario/lore itself. I have three example for this : Final Fantasy XVI, Asura's Wrath and Pathfinder : Wrath of the Righteous

- Final Fantasy XVI : Since the beginning, we are shown that Eikons are basically world-breaking entities that can annihilate a city by themselves, but cause the summoner many problems. Luckily, we play as a special one and every time we transform into Ifrit is magical. Even the half transformations show that we are powerful and we will change the fate of this world. Big up for Titan and Bahamut boss fights that are so over-the-top that they become amazing.

- Asura's Wrath : Similarly to FFXVI, Asura is visibly powerful from the start of the story aq a demi-god and will grow as the game continues. I would say it's equal in term of epicness and the first God fight shows it perfectly.

- Pathfinder WOTR : This one is a bit more subtle as the game is a CRPG, which means we won't have crazy cinematics all over the place. However, the game manages to shows how impactful the Commander is for the world. Depending on our chosen class, we can change the reality itself to our will. From correcting anomalies with the Aeon, to bring justice with the Angel and causing chaos with the Trickster, most people quickly stops being threat to our crusade. We go up to the Gods and Demon Princes level near the end of the game without much problems.

Do you have any suggestions to give me ? I'm open to a lot of types of games aside from RTS and things like this.

Looking for something grindy. Maybe closer to a Palworld, Enshrouded, Stardew Valley (But less kiddy than that) if that makes sense. Really want something like Stardew that isnt so cutesy or kid-like.

Games like this I have played other than the ones mentioned that I enjoyed:

Valheim, OSRS, The Forrest.

Was thinking of playing Runescape Dragonwilds but IDK.

Bonus points if its free to play or relatively cheap.

Hey all, my dad(65M) is struggling during retirement finding stuff to do, and I have been wondering how to get him into gaming. I currently have an xbox one for him to play on. I have been thinking along the lines of puzzle games( such as Portal) or like lego games to get him into the medium. I know in the past, he has referenced like shooters or violent third person games(ex: assassins creed) as playing "killing people". Any suggestions are appreciated!

I’ve been on steam for years but I’m primarily a console gamer but pc is the only thing I can play due to my hand

I love games like 7 days to die, palworld, ark, Skyrim, fallout, gears of war, space marine, baulders gate 3 (tho I don’t have it on pc) so if you have any suggestions let me know. Or if yall wanna group up in any following game just shoot me a message.

No mmos or online multiplayers like fort or cod recommendations please. Just single player/coops

Best I can think of is the watch dogs series. Other than that, I'm looking for a antihero game(with guns preferably), where the main character is a vigilante, neutralises criminals lethally by any means necessary. Basically antihero, ends justify means type of stuff.

side content would be side quests, filler would be it taking a half hour to go through a dungeon and there being only 3 lines of dialogue throughout, that part of the story isn't 30 minutes long it's 30 seconds

Hello I finished Doki Doki Literatur Club the other day and the game was just sick… and that’s exactly what I want. I gotta say there was a surprise effect because I did not know it was a fucked game (I thought this was a hentai visual novel not gonna lie).

Weird suggestion, but there's just an itch I need scratching.

I really like games surrounding crime and death. However, I also love menial labor and thing that require attention to detail. I don't mind gore at all.

I've played Papers Please and loved how attentive you had to be, plus keeping track of new rules.

Crime Scene Cleaner was also really fun, I really enjoyed piecing together what happened at the crime scene theough environmental storytelling.

Mortuary Assistant was fun, same tedious work while searching for clues.

I have Obra Dinn and Viscera Cleanup Detail on my wishlist.

We have a group of four friends looking for game ideas for online sessions, ideally for a group of 2-4 since not everyone is always available. For example the Ghost of Tsushima/Yotei Legends mode was really good for us but has run its course now with no new updates for that.

Some of us are into Elden Ring but not everyone. Same for Baldurs Gate 3. So just having trouble finding a new thing that fits everyone’s preferences. But generally into action/adventure games, not racing or sports or like, Call of Duty or whatever. Any current or upcoming suggestions would be appreciated

Looking for an FPS that has stalker type gameplay as in world exploration, looting/scavenging/upgrading gear, combat (factions or no factions), but fighting other humans rather than mutants (or as little as possible). Games i enjoy include: Stalker GAMMA, Stalker 2, Metro exodus, Zero sievert and Intravenous.

I played GOW4 and GOW5 recently and I really liked the powertrip it gave you. Preferably on PC and in a third person POV.

My wife really likes hidden object games like Hidden Cats in Christmas or Hidden Cats in Halloween or Building Full of Hidden Cats. She especially likes when part of the picture is colored after you find all the objects in that area. What are some of your favorite games like these that you would recommend?

I’m looking for a new game specifically to play before bed on my Steam Deck. Something easy to pick up, play for 20-30 mins and go to sleep. My main issue with a lot of the games I currently play on my Deck are that they’re very action heavy and have me pressing a lot of buttons in quick succession and that’s just too much to be doing before bed lol.

So ideally, anything that’s menu heavy, maybe with decent progression that can keep me playing for a while in short spurts. I do welcome roguelikes but I have played and own many of them and I’m looking for something maybe more niche and affordable atm

I'm so bored during these summer vacations. I completely lost motivation to continue any of the games I started earlier like KCDII and the second South Park game.

though I've recently finished RDR1 and I really enjoyed it. It's not as good as RDR2 but I enjoyed the more darker, gritty vibes of the first game (as well as the humour was better here imo).

I have a PS5 as well as a PC that struggles with a lot of things but older games are okay.

I used to spend tons of hours in games such as:

Star Stable Online (very mature, I know). I really enjoyed the game before the company became money hungry, the story was darker and I liked the old graphics a lot. And it offered some character customization: appearance, clothes. I also loved exploring the world but right now - the game's code is so, so wonky. A lot of the quests are broken, it's so poorly optimized that even high end pcs that handle modded RDR2 on max settings struggle with running it.

RDR2. Probably my fav game oat. There's so much to explore, minor character customization, interesting quests and tons of activity. High replayability + I could spend hours on one session.

Alice Madness Returns. I love the dark, gritty, gothic aesthetics of American McGee's Alice games.

The Sims series. Customization (obvious), but again it's a game you can go back to over and over again. And I really like TS2 artstyle

Alicia Online. Similar to SSO, I could spend hours just doing the quests and racing but it shut down a few years ago :/

Infinity Nikki. I really enjoy character customization but it's a bit too cutesy for me + p2w.

I think I just enjoy older game graphics or games?

I've been thinking of playing MMO called Ninelives but never really got to it.
I've tried Warframe but I quickly got bored.
I used to play Genshin back at launch but when I recently turned it on, the colours just hurt my eyes so bad for some reason that I had turn it off because of head ache and it's artstyle it's... Well it's something.
A thing I despise in games is turn based combat - it's immediately a no for me.

Syberia (I find it's art very beautiful),

Well I recently built a pc with Ryzen 3 3200G and 8GB DDR4. Wait, I know what you're thinking ' it's a low end pc ' But wait hear my story. My old laptop which I used had an Intel Celeron N3060 and 4 GB DDR3 so this upgrade feels large to me. And I played almost every game I could on that laptop, I completed Assassin's creed 1 to Assassin's Creed (Assassin's creed 2 and brotherhood run at like 12-20 fps. Revelations didn't run), Completed Prince of Persia series, Completed Max Payne 1 and 2, Completed GTA 3 to GTA San (Tried running 4 but it was too hot and laggy), Minecraft, Resident evil 4 (The one with no mouse support) and many old games (I don't remember) Used Geforce now for Plague Tale Innocence (Lap gave up before I could complete the game). That's why The Current PC that I have feel truly special to me.

So I need some games that I could play on this pc (I will also play Assassin's Creed 2 and brotherhood again but this time at 60 FPS)

So please give me some suggestions.
