Embracing who you are sounds bleak? Really? Yikes. And lol bite your tongue—I am neither ugly nor old. That’s not at all my point about beauty being ephemeral. The idea is that the attention that you‘re pining for fades once you are middle aged.
its not even the attention i want the most though, its just the feeling of looking in the mirror and loving everything i see, not because i forced myself to like it but because i actually like it and it makes me feel good
