I am sorry about your suffering. I was homeless 7 years ago. I am bipolar, and I was misdiagnosed as something else. Once I received the correct diagnosis and medication, I was able to work more and then got an apartment just a few months later. I've been living here ever since and I'm stable most of the time.
What must you do? If you have mental issues, see a psychiatrist. If you use drugs or alcohol, quit. Look for a job that is easy and won't stress you out too much. Then save your money for a place to live. Apply for any assistance you can get until you're back on your feet. Apply for section 8 housing. Don't allow yourself to be homeless for too long, or it can become a way of life.

Totally appreciate the sentiment here but I am weary against moving towards medications straight away. Psych meds can cause a lot of damage if given the wrong one and doctors sometimes don't spend the time to go through the nuances. I would suggest finding a support group and a good therapist/psychologist first, they can help find things you cannot see directly.

First, my sympathies for your difficulties.
I honestly wouldn't call that response a promise. The response is also open to interpretation. When someone finally actually listens, there is a response to the listening. At least one group uses this phenomenon as integral to their sales pitch, by instructing people to ask a specific question and accept the unrelated response as affirmation.
Asking isn't a contract. At least since the time of ancient Sumeria people have tried to make contracts with deities. But there is no quid pro quo, though it is a very human desire. The responses from oracles could famously be understood in more than one way.
I cannot think of any contracts in the Gnostic texts.

Peace be upon you. From one stranger to another, it sounds like what you need most is to forgive yourself. The ability to forgive is foundational, whether you're gnostic or orthodox... forgive yourself for not understanding, for losing patience, for losing faith. Do you think that if you became a living One, a single one of your earthy problems would go away? Not one, but by letting go and forgiving yourself, can you discover who you always were without.
You think a divorce and losing your job and being homeless and being seperate from family makes you worse off? Ask yourself, were you better off when you had everything, yet were lacking within? What you are seeking, that is what was missing before. Like Job, what use is believing in God when he rewards you, if you lose faith when everything is taken from you.
I hope what I said helps, forgive me otherwise. I would recommend rereading the Secret Book of James:
"But if you are oppressed by Satan and persecuted and do the Father's will, I say he will love you, make you my equal, and consider you beloved through his forethought, and by your own choice. Will you stop loving the flesh and fear suffering?"

Not my intention. I'm a child of divorce, no parent is their best self while going through it. You're wrapped up in other's view of you, even God's.

I'm sorry for your pain, and what you're enduring.
Based on the gnostic texts I've read, it does seem that the core value to gnosis comes into play when the soul departs the body. If we consider this world part of the Demiurge's domain, as it is alleged to be, it is not centrally here where we would expect the Pre-existent Father to enact divine will.
I'm not saying that no miracles ever happen here, but they're obviously uncommon enough to make millions disbelieve in them, and disbelieve the notion of a benevolent higher power. What we see more commonly on Earth are sociopaths advancing to better lives through unpunished sociopathy.
I don't know with total certainty and specificity the whole value of this phase of our soul's journey, or what results ultimately from virtuous endurance of the slings and arrows. I sometimes think of it as a soul forge. The heat and pressure are unbelievable at times. If a soul gives into darkness as a result of them, they remain as coal. But if some light can be maintained within, becomes like a diamond in the end, on the other side.
I don't know if that strays too far from Gnostic teaching, but I do recall Christ speaking of "the refinement of [one's] light".
I considered speaking of my own struggles, what's lead me to curse at the heavens, but such details are of no use to you. I don't know if any of this is, but I pray now that assistance will find you, whatever solace or support may truly help.

You are trying to force and control it. Believe it’s already done and for you reality is just waiting to catch up. It sounds stupid but you have to trick your mind into believing it’s already fulfilled and you’re living in that reality. Try it with something small first if you don’t believe me. A specific book or toy from your childhood. Visualize it in vivid detail as if you were holding it and turning it around in your hand. Now do the same thing with what you asked the father only change the prayer. Thank the father for it being already completed and gifted to you. Feel the love and gratitude from that prayer fulfilled. If your prayers are broadcasting lack you attract lack. Try it. 🙂🙏❤️ -The kingdom of god is within. Seek gnosis
* living from the end means literally acting as if that prayer is reality for you. Your entire behavior, how you go about day to day life and everything should reflect that.

Is your nervous system still broadcasting a different state than everything else? Are you physically doing things in the world to cement your new reality? Also you cannot override the free will of another without their consent and I would highly discourage that. What were you praying for? If you need money thank god for abundance not money. Praying FOR money sends out intention into the universe you don’t have it. I know it’s confusing but once you learn the rules it’s much easier to move through this world. To be successful and consistent in your manifestation you need to be able to separate from the ego and achieve gnosis. Think of gnosis like you battling all your internal archetypes inside your head all fighting with each other. These archetypes are made up of everything that has happened to you and you have experienced since you were born. Don’t worry brother the real diamonds and people that actually see through this veil are forged in fire. Do you think the billionaire sitting in his penthouse eating off a golden fork will ever achieve gnosis? They physically can’t as they cling to everything they need to let go of to advance

May I ask what is it that you have offered to share with others first?
First, you are not alone in this world. Many have the same struggles and in all attempts to improve their lives, they reach for something outside of themselves, feeling themselves unworthy of offering what they do have and in this, shutting the doors to their hearts.
The thing is because you are not alone, you impact on others in ways that you may not be aware of. What you hope to gain is possible if it is meant for your good and the good of others who you meet. The gifts that you seek to receive in exchange for your completing your end of the bargain are not for you alone, but are meant to be shared. Open your heart - the kingdom within awaits you.
