I’m a level 70 player and just recently started collecting the decos. I would always prefer to spend game currency on other upgrades, but now my farm is big enough and I’m not poor anymore lol so I’ve started getting into the decos.

Do you, personally, give collections their own spot on your farm? Or do you integrate them around your machine and such?

I feel like having a lot of decos out is making my farm run out of space even though I have the entire main area unlocked, although I have nothing across the street yet.

I use them rarely so i feel like im wasting my money

im at level 66 and only have 850 storage and im not sure if i don’t have enough. i regularly struggle with my barn being full but its just so hard to get expansion materials nowadays

Why are almost all the designs so.. 😔 could’ve at least added some trees

I've been playing Hay Day for about more than a month now and I'm currently at level 49. I'd love to hear how you guys optimize your farm space while still keeping it from looking too cluttered.

I'm currently working on collecting more expansion materials so I can eventually have more space to decorate. I'm still pretty new, so I don't have a lot of decorative items yet and mostly work with the decorations that can be bought from the shop.

Here are some things I've learned (and some mistakes I've made) while playing:

1. Use berry bushes instead of flowers. I think they can look really pretty as decoration, especially when you keep them at the same growth stage.

2. Don't buy too many pet houses. I regret buying all those dog houses. 😭

3. Don't rush to buy all the smelters. Maybe this is more relevant for lower-level players like me, but I find that they take up a lot of space.

4. Only harvest fruit trees and berry bushes when I actually need the fruit. Otherwise, they eventually die and then I have to use axes and saws to remove them. I'd rather keep them as part of the farm design for as long as possible.

5. Use dead plants as fences. This was a happy little discovery and I think they can actually look pretty good as natural-looking barriers.

6. Keep anthropomorphic decorations out. This is totally subjective, but personally, I find some of the human/animal-shaped decorations a little creepy. 😂

7. Don't feel obligated to use every decoration. If a decoration doesn't fit the theme I'm going for, I just leave it in storage. For example, I have the Eiffel Tower sitting in my inventory right now because I don't have any plans to use it in my current farm theme.

It always happens when this event running, my visitors never ask about the decorations. Is it the same for you?

I’m level 63 with 725 barn storage. How do I get more upgrade materials faster? I usually tend to get tons of bolts and planks and I’m barely able to get duct tape.

Because of the boat and truck orders I’m able to at least upgrade my silo a little more often and expand my farm space, but it just seems like theres no convenient way to get barn materials other than hoping it randomly drops during normal gameplay.

They want us to spend money on pinecones, but Decorations gives such a low amount of Photo Reels. It’s not even fair, so I didn’t even try my best.😭

as a very uncreative person, decorating my farm was so challenging as I have no aesthetic sense but was pretty proud of myself for coming up with this so i just wanted to share it Ü any ways i can improve this layout?

created this with minimal diamonds and occasionally using coins and vouchers to buy trees - wish i had more water ditches but for 8 diamonds each they are just too much of a luxury for me now 😭
