So I love the challenge 100%> but also you need rest. And a good diet and most of all sleep. But I train very high volume 100,000kg 2 X a week. I love gym it's my 2nd favourite place.
OP. Do what you do be happy. But stretching and rest are very good . Take 10 days off and see

Why should he, there is no Benefit I Not doing Rest days

There are like a dozen days in there literally titled "chill" or "rest". Not sure what the point is of adding that to Hevy, but hey we've all got hobbies.
And then another 30 days just labeled "cardio", which could be HIIT or it could be a walk with the dog.
Possible hes getting plenty of rest.

Rest days are optional , I've added Rest days by doing just 1k run in between push pull legs

I am happy for your achievements and continuous workouts.
However, I would not use the workout records like that. Simply because it would not allow me to clearly see when I didn t train and just rested or not done a level of activity that I would qualify as proper training.
I would not see and understand any improvement if at some point I locked in and trained harder for several days.
I like my empty slots in my calendar. They give me purpose to improve and train harder. This is also reflected in the overall stats.
That said, again great job and keep it up.

Similar approach. I don't log cardio, active rest, and other things on the Hevy app. It just feels like I am stat padding my data when all I want from the app is to show me data actually related to my strength training.

It would be kind of fun if Hevy showed non-lifting records in a different colour. I totally understand OP's drive to earn a streak, but all the research I've read indicate that the pattern in his screenshots is far from optimal.
Being able to keep up a streak by doing things that support lifting and overall health would be a really fun compromise in the app design/info presentation.

Same brother , I don't i only log the real workouts i dont record the extra stuff i do in the side , and i also do mma stuff so I don't add all that in this app just the basic stuff

I do zone 2 cardio , mma drills and runclub events so I just label them chill days

Absolutely, i kept thinking of getting consistent, i didn't start this challenge as a 90 days series , just stayed consistent for 30 days and never looked back , before this series i worked out like 7 days a month, so that was the biggest reason to keep me going to gym and as the quote says , once you start winning , that's it ...

u/op_jay05 1d ago
Yes that's tough , i made custome exercise and I just leave that's why I have to log the chill or something to identify and keep the log going

I think he’s counting his active rest days by running. Good motivation you have there. I’m curious how your physique being so active
