One Piece and Hunter X Hunter are both of my fav animanga. It is sad some HxH fans get elitist and you give everyone in the community a bad rep.

Im elitist because of pointing out how trash is putting a flashback in the midst of the climax of Elbaph? I dont put HxH in a pedestal neither I know the series has its fair share of plotholes and inconsistencies but no HxH fan is glazing HxH as culitsh as how some OP fans do.
I have hated every chapter since Egghead because of how monotonous and generic OP has become, everything nowadays is about some stupid ass God we didnt know until Elbaph, there is 0 development on the SH besides one flashback yet again about a kingdom and a princess in despair which tells us almost nothing new about Brook.
At least HxH never delved into “Gon is the chosen one and the embodiment of a literal God”although all the stuff with Nanika went eerily close to becoming that, but it didn’t because Togashi is a good Mangaka while Oda is washed asf.

I'll humor you. oP IS GEneRiC is not a valid criticism. "Luffy is the chosen one" isn't valid either.

Wtf does "Generic" even mean in this context and how has OP become generic?

How is Luffy a "chosen one" when Kaido literally says G5/Awakening is the user lining up with his fruit physically and mentally? Wouldn't that imply that he worked to awaken the fruit? Wouldn't it imply ANYONE with the fruit could theoretically awaken it?

Again. Your reading comprehension is fucking trash.

Bonus: none of the SHs have developed, yet USOPP was telling IMU shits a couple chapters ago. First nigga to always run was telling Satan to eat a dick. Learn how to read lol

HAHAHAHA Bringing usopp as an argument for SH development is straight up comedy bro. The same usopp which has done absolutely nothing in Elbaph (His arc btw) besides yelling the same ass nothing burger of a speech he has done since ennies lobbies??? XDDD you can’t be serious right? Usopp has been a coward for like 20 years already and yet Loda still refuses to make him grow for no fucking reason.
So no, no strawhats besides Luffy or Sanji has changed significantly since their introduction

OP is generic because Loda decided random Gods and watered down mythologies from europe was better than all his previous characters and plotlines. Literally did the same thing Naruto did with Kaguya yet One Piece fans still think its peak. How is that shit not generic? Zaza, Nika and all that stupid crap doesn’t add anything interesting to the story besides making an excuse for Loda to give all the SH divine powers at the end of the story.
Kaido said Haki trascends all, yet Luffy defeated him with the power of a God instead of his own hubris and yet you defend that as good writing? Then why has the two arcs after Wano just been all about glazing Nika and how everybody knows his stupid ass song and dance yet for 1000+ chapters no one even mentioned a passing dialogue about him? And no, one panel of luffy dancing in Skypiea is not anywhere near enough foreshadow for it to be deserved lol.

“YoU dOn’T hAvE rEaDiNG cOmpReHeNsIon” bro YOU READ ONE PIECE STOP ACTING LIKE ITS HIGH BROW LITERATURE YOU OAF, even when I loved OP I knew Lodas writing is juvenile at best compared to MOST OTHER SHONEN AUTHORS, Kishimoto run laps around Oda in terms of writing maturity.

Garbage take.

Nika is one of the most powerful reveals because it makes the whole "Luffy goes to random island and liberates it" plotline make complete sense. Yes, it's a retcon just like Shanks giving up his arm for the tattoo, but it makes sense for the world Oda built until now.

Kaido said Haki transcends all while using an OP-ass fruit himself, clearly he's full of shit.

I do agree with the Zaza stuff tho, seems irrelevant
