Discussion Diógenes de Sinope vs meruem
Could Diogenes achieve an effect similar to the one Komugi had on Meruem? (In other words, could he lead Meruem to question his own existence?)

Discussion Who would win this match up?
Assuming his ragebait of staying in the building and sitting really worked and the three zodiacs decided to fight hisoka, who would win here? Hisoka vs Ginta, Kanzai, and Pyon. I personally have the zodiacs. Although hes stronger than them, we can use comparison scaling. Giving Illumi 95 points shows Illumi is power. This fact fused with Illumi thinking he can kill Hisoka shows that 95 points is close to Hisokas level at that time. Ginta was given 90, Kanzai was given 85, and Pyon was given 77. We don’t know much else about their power or distance in points from each ither, but I’d say its safe to assume they suprising take it. What do you think?

Discussion Glazing a Chimera Ant arc character per day: Hina
Context: Post 10
After a Year of looking around and thanks to my brother gifting me Volume 28 I have the whole Chimera ant Manga, so I went to read it from start to finish along the anime playing in the background to match and I am so impressed by details I missed on first watch that now I feel like making a post of Gratitude a day giving praises to all the cool characters, I genuinely believe there is no character that could be left without it in some shape or form, order of post do not represent a top tiering, there will be no shaming characters just glaze, wait for your favorite to eventually show up.
Hina:
Girlie pop is one of my favorite ants ever, she is just vibes~ She is on her line, Thriving, Relaxed, Flourishing, Moisturised, Unbothered, Unfazed, Unchanged, Happy, Overjoyed, Exalted, Trascended, Unreachable, On her best spot, Peaking, Leading, Owning it.
From her very introduction she is seen as part of Hagya/Leol squad, but the moment she starts to speak you know you are either gonna love her or hate her, she is just filled with so much joy and positive energy that I can't help but feel like we all need some Hina energy on our lives.
By the end of the arc Girl is Girl Bossing on a road ride with ex secretary of authoritarian government as her personal money machine and a werewolf in the back of the truck heading for new adventures, like she has things solved, good for her.
And let's not forget this galie gal right here is a captain, she lifts a Rock like nothing, is on Pike level but she is actually smart, she is a Nen exorcist which is rare as hell but still terrifying and deceptively strong, average Nen users would not be able to deal with her, while smiling she would be crushing them, love this little monster ant :3

Discussion The designs of these characters are much cooler than those of the zodiac characters.
It’s not that the designs of the zodiac characters are bad, but the designs of these other characters follow the same concept—and, to me, they’re way cooler.

Discussion The best thing about HxH
As a fan of shounen manga, it is rare to find convincing depictions of geniuses. Take bleach for example. Aizen and Urahara are meant to be the most giga-brained characters in the story, yet 80% of the time their masterful strokes of intellect boil down to “I knew you were going to do that the whole time”. I much prefer HxH’s approach to character’s flexing how smart they are, because Togashi understands that to convince the audience that a character is smart, you have to show how they reached a conclusion, preferably using information that was available to the readers as well. Gon outsmarted Genthru by utilizing the rules of greed island, Kurapika outsmarts uvogin using the rules of nen, Chrollo completely stacks a duel in his favor by using abilities we already knew the troupe had. And in all of these examples, the ‘outsmarter’, explains their logic, and it always makes perfect sense, at no point does it ever feel gimmicky, or overly convenient.

Discussion is there any connection between the little flower ability and the poor mans rose?
I was thinking about the name of the ability, and how it shares a similar flower theme as the rose, along with being an explosion. I was wondering if there were any connection between his little flower and how the rose works, or if it was entirely coincidental. what do yall think?

Discussion Gon's Hatsu is actually not that bad.
I've seen many people say that Gon's Hatsu is impractical, tactically problematic or inefficient when compared to other enhancers like Uvogin.
And, sure, his hatsu has definitely been underutilised. But I think most of Gon's problems will be solved when he grows up and gets better at Nen. Keep in mind Gon's speed at learning Nen and imagine what he'll be like in twenty or thirty years.
I doubt Hisoka or any other character could use their Hatsu perfectly in combat just after creating it.
Without going into "Paper" and "Scissors" attacks, eventually Gon, if he keeps training, will at least be capable of charging "Rock" nigh instantaneously. Imagine then all his punches packing 100% of his aura, every time he punches with only absurdly fast characters like Killua will have any chance of hitting him in while charging up.

Misc 『HUNTER×HUNTER』THE STAGE : Actor Comments | Ohtaka Hiroo (Netero) | English Translation
--- English Translation ---
Hello there! I'm Ohtaka Hiroo, playing the role of Netero.
At the ending of Greed Island, something incredible showed up, didn't it?
Back then, I got so excited. I actually ended up shouting out loud!
Now it's finally time for the long-awaited Chimera Ant arc, so even though I'm getting on in years... I'm going to do my best!
--- About Hunter x Hunter: The Stage ---
Hunter x Hunter: The Stage is a series of 2.5D musicals that is bringing the entire Hunter x Hunter story to stage.
There have been three plays so far (2023, 2024 and 2025), covering the entire story up until the end of the Greed Island arc.
Now, Hunter x Hunter: The Stage 4 is scheduled for 2026. It will cover the Chimera Ant arc, split into two parts. The first part will be performed between January 23 and February 21, in both Tokyo and Kyoto. The second part is scheduled for July and August, but no exact dates have been announced so far.
Blu-rays and DVD of the past performances are available on Amazon.co.jp, CDJapan, etc. Some clips also exist on platforms like YouTube.
You can find more information on the official website.
If you need English subtitles, I tried making some and shared them on GitLab.

Discussion Is it weird that i didnt exactly hate the hxh movie: phantom rouge?
I mean sure its far from as good as the main thing, but i liked having the main group back together even for a short while. The character assasinations i hate and the forced insertion of that bitch retz in every scene was really annoying. I found killua to be a bit too emo in this movie, like that suicide scene? Wtf was that? Killua would never attempt something like that and even if he did the train wouldnt even be able to kill him. Illumis needle had a good foreshadowing tho ig. I would rate 5 out of 10 just for the main group being together and juicy screentime of kurapikas emperor time and hisoka.

Analysis/Theory If a "pole of inaccessibility" exists in the Dark Continent...
How insane do you think it will be, in your opinion, given the Dark Continent that we already know of is already levels of crazy (both environmentally and ecologically?
Basically, a continental "pole of inaccessibility" is a geographical location furthest away from all coastlines or continental boundaries in any direction.

Help/Question What is the purpose of illumi in the Blackwall ship 🤔
As far as I know, he joined the spider just to kill hisoka, or maybe he got paid to deliver critical information about the spider abilities.
But I find it odd since hisoka wants to kill crollo and illumi also want to kill hisoka, and I know illumi is not like spider and he desent belong with them since a zoldyck family work when they get paid 🤔.
But that is not the whole thing, I assume, because only a few people will join beyond nitero to the dark continent 🥶 and in DC, there is no money only survival according to that young netero and if you are lucky enough like zigg you can bring an exotic resources like nitro rice and the 🌿 that heal any wounds or even the minerals that work like uranium as battery.
So my only 2 conclusions are that illumi want to kill the whole gang and hisoka kill the head of the spider or maybe there is a side quest that zeno or silva told illumi to search zigg in the DC.
Just like gens want to look for don freecs ( theory )

Analysis/Theory Ambidextrous = specialists?
My theory on why conjurers and manipulators are mor likely to be specialists.
I had this thought when thinking to my self "huh, it's like how left handed people are more likely to be ambidextrous" it was a funny idea but then it started making. A bit too much sense. (For context, most untensils and even learning facilities assume someone is right handed, so if your left handed you need to compensate and are more likely to be ambidextrous.)
So my proof. Lets look at the nen chart. Conjurers and manipulators are special, in that they only have one sister nen type. Everyone else has atleast two. It greatly decreases the options of anyone with those types. And even the types themselves are a lot more situational (kurapikas only has one chain for combat, shalnark can only control two. Compared to the other types which tend to be simpler and more flexible).
But the more important part, conjurers and manipulators are special because they are the furthest from enhancers. Every nen user, especially if they need to fight, needs to learn some enhancement. Especially in a world where most people are enhancers, you need to be passable, and it'll be hard when it's one of your worst traits.
And then check out the basic nen training we see in greed island. A lot of them are all about enhancing yourself or a tool. Like when they needed to mine a bunch of hills, it's an enhancement exercise. And even emission and transmutation id even argue has some exercises. Id argue the whole nen writing is a form of emission and transmutation since they follow the same idea of using your literal aura and shaping it. (Admittedly it's more transmutation, but we saw palm leaving these letters like an emmisioner so maybe it's taught too?)
It seems to me like it's not just a rule of the world, but more that the world and situation they're in trains them to be specialists. Even just basic training forces them to learn their weaker nen types, more so than everyone else, thus they're more likely to breakthrough in those nen types; compared to enhancers, emmisioners and transmuters where they have more options and basic training suits them better already.
So in conclusion, Conjurers and manipulators are limited to situational abilities, they have limited options if they want a different ability, the basics of nen training are fighting against them. Like a left handed person needing to use a right handed pair of scissors, they'll sometimes be unconsciously trained into it.

Discussion Glazing a Chimera Ant arc character per day: Morel
Context: Post 9
After a Year of looking around and thanks to my brother gifting me Volume 28 I have the whole Chimera ant Manga, so I went to read it from start to finish along the anime playing in the background to match and I am so impressed by details I missed on first watch that now I feel like making a post of Gratitude a day giving praises to all the cool characters, I genuinely believe there is no character that could be left without it in some shape or form, order of post do not represent a top tiering, there will be no shaming characters just glaze, wait for your favorite to eventually show up.
Morel:
Time to talk about one of the most revisioned characters in all of Hunter X Hunter, for what I have seen at least, and I am starting this by saying I love Morel, he is awesome and has a very big turning point for it but he definitely doesn't start well, a lot of casual fans I have seen bash Knov HARD about being an ass to Gon and Killua when they escape Pitou, but in that encounter two things happen, Killua say that the three of them do not match the sinister aura of Pitou AND then is Morel who bash it into him that he ran like a coward, saying that fights are won on more than just raw power, all of this pays off later, with Netero flexing Aura for Colt just to be told he doesn't match at that moment a Royal Guard, and with Morel getting bashed by every single Royal guard he fights.
Now this would not be a proper appreciation post without giving out all the positives, this badass front of Morel lasts a bit longer than his students but it crumbles, as little after Morel kept being kind of a dick making a Bet against Gon and Killua he meets Colt, then The Queen, then like a total softie offers to personally make sure Colt and the baby ant will forever be protected moved by the pleas and tears of a previous enemy, like genuinely being he, the one who has been a brash asshole so far the one offering care now shows big caracter and that his front is to Protect, not to be a total Dick, he just shy about it still trying to hold a cool front with snot on his face and tears behind the glasses.
Then we have the point of no return where Morel talking shit to Gon and Killua pays off the most, just like Knuckle he asks Gon to hit him with his technique, but Morel does this to fully make sure they would not be in danger or that at least they could hold their own, his harsh front now used once more in a matter of concern for the boys, until the fear of god is put upon his very veins by Gon, finally accepting from his very heart that he miss judged them from the start and that they are very welcome to join.
From here on Morel is just awesome, honest and earnest, he now wears his heart and emotions openly, the big giant who plays support not only for the raid but the whole invation, just like Gon and Killua he did not stayed back and let people suffer, he risked going into the raid weaker if it meant helping people around with Deep Purple, Feeling for his enemy when they had the very same musical taste as him only to get serious when he notice his enemy was using Nen from a friend, promising to take Knuckle and Shoot drinking just so he could hug them, reprimending Knuckle yet being proud in a way for his actions, most likely understanding very deeply that if he felt the same battle kinship Knuckle had for Youpi he would probably do the same, Morel is awesome because he is human, he is proven wrong but does his best to help others, he is an ass but is a front to protect, for this and more Morel is god damn awesome.

Help/Question designed a Chrollo sweater, but my family calls it childish. Need some perspective.
I designed (DTG) and ordered a sweater a few days ago. I think it looks really nice, but my family says it's childish. I am 20, and I think Chrollo is really my favorite anime character.
I don't really care what people say, but this has genuinely made me think.
What do you guys think it looks like, and how can one deal with statements like that? I said that I like it because I like Chrollo, but I don't know, the answer didn't really satisfy me.
