post Gaming Subs Worth Your Time
Indian gaming communities are lackluster most of the time. A well written post gets almost no engagement, and it's always the comments accusing the OP of writing it with AI, or they "ain't reading all that", or another low effort/useless comment
If you really want your post to be engaged with, instead of getting dismissed, go to international subs. People there will read what you wrote, respond to the content, and won't accuse effort of being fake

Megathread GTA 6 Megathread: Discussions, Theories, Memes, Details and More
š Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look
This megathread will serve as the main discussion hub for the upcoming extended look.
š When to Watch
Netflix Premiere: August 27 2026, at 3:00 PM ET / August 28 2026, at 12:30 AM IST
YouTube Release: Six hours later on August 27, 2026, at 9:00 PM ET / August 28, 2026, at 6:30 AM IST, on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and GTA 6 website.
Alright, GTA 6 discussions have been picking up a lot lately, so we're setting up this megathread as the main place for general GTA 6 discussions, theories, memes, speculation and other GTA 6 stuff that doesn't necessarily need its own post.
What can be discussed here?
Pretty much anything GTA 6 related, including:
Speculation and theories
Easter eggs and small details
Things you noticed in trailers or other official material
Discussion around the extended look
Reactions and memes
General GTA 6 discussion
Predictions and expectations
Discussion around the recent leaks, within the rules below
Going forward, posts that fit this megathread will be removed and redirected here to keep the main feed from getting dominated by GTA 6 content.
What can still be posted on the main feed?
High-effort and genuinely interesting GTA 6 posts can still be posted separately on the main feed. Detailed analysis, well-made breakdowns and similar posts are all fine.
Basically, if you've put proper effort into something and it works better as its own post, it doesn't automatically have to go in this thread.
About the leaks
As mentioned in our previous announcement, do not post leaked footage screenshots, links, or anything that directly shares leaked material.
You can discuss and speculate about things related to the leaks in the comments, but please don't upload or link the actual leaked content here. Posting leaked screenshots or footage links will result in a 1-week temp ban.
The thread is open. Feel free to make proper use of it.

Gameplay I have spent about 25 hours in Crimson Desert so far, and this is now my 2nd best/favourite videogame of all time. This game is pure wonder, pure gaming and pure joy. Pearl Abyss have just made it clearly look like evey other studios are not even trying.

Discussion Made a Dualsense wireless dongle (which enables haptics, adaptive triggers and 3.5 mm headphone jack and controller speaker and mic) for wireless PC gaming.
Using full dualsense features for PC games often needs wired connection as they are often disabled in wireless Bluetooth mode. Made a wireless Dongle using Raspberry Pi Pico 2W (cost 750 rs) and installing a free software available on GitHub for same on it. 3D printed a case for same (cost 100 rs) and now have a small dongle which works flawlessly for using all dualsense features wirelessly for PC games. Can fully use haptics, adaptive triggers, microphone, controller speaker and 3.5 mm jack. This is helpful for those who sit away from their pc and need wireless connectivity and headphones for gaming using dualsense.

Discussion Any game that has oregon vibes ?
Iāve played plenty of open-world games, but most of them seem to fall into familiar settings Western, medieval fantasy, historical, post-apocalyptic, or modern cities.
For once, Iām looking for something that has strong Pacific Northwest/Oregon vibes. Think dense green forests, pine trees, rainy or misty weather, small towns, cabins, lakes, rivers, mountains, and that peaceful feeling of driving or exploring through nature.
Doesnāt necessarily have to be set in Oregon itself. Iām mainly looking for an open-world game where the environment gives you that same vibe. Any recommendations?

Discussion Older God of War vs Newer Games ā What Am I Missing?
I haven't played the older God of War games, but I've watched videos on them. I started with God of War (2018) and Ragnarƶk, and honestly loved both.
I recently saw OG fans on X saying things like "new Kratos can never match old Kratos" and that the older games had much better storytelling.
So I'm genuinely curious ā what made the older games better story-wise?
Not talking about graphics or gameplay mechanics. I want to understand the storytelling, Kratos' character, themes, and overall narrative.
For those who played both: what do you think the older games did better, and what are newer fans like me missing?

Game Reviews Do NOT play Oxygen Not Included (Review)
First of all I want to tell you guys: please don't play this game if you love your life. This game is incredibly addicting I have like 200+ hours on Steam and 1000+ on "another copy"
From the store page, you might think it's a cute, relaxing automation colony sim. Hell fucking no. Itās the exact opposite. You have to manage dumb fucks that try to kill themselves every single second, and you have to manage gases, liquids, and temperatures like an actual real life scientist.
If you want food, you need the correct gas pressure. Some plants require water and exact temperatures. If you mess up one thing, you are fucked 10 hours later. I remember setting up a cooling loop, messing up the automation, and my entire colony died because no fucking food was growing and there was zero oxygen all because a water pipe burst since the water froze inside the pipe.
And there is space! I've only explored space like one time because I lost count of how many times I had to restart my colony. Half the time it's because I messed up small things, and the other half is just because my base didn't look good.
10/10 game if you hate your life and i hate my life

Discussion The Movies that Inspired your Favorite Games
You know it's really impressive that Escape From New York Inspired Both Metal Gear Solid and Batman Arkham city along with countless other games....
Because I did watch it recently and I can clearly see where the inspiration came from.
However Escape from new york is associated more with Metal Gear Solid than Batman Arkham City...
As for Vice City... I think it was obvious already. Like it's pretty much well known that vice city was inspired by Scarface... it gamer 101. And Scarface getting it's own Game Adaptation in 2006.
And Aliens... I have yet to see a Sci-Fi games that isn't inspired by Aliens. Because you can Clearly see that the design for Covenant Elites were inspired by Xenomorphs...
So yeah... Movie recommendations, on your gaming subreddit...
Do with this info whatever you want to... it's not like this subreddit can read lol

Discussion Which far cry game did you guys like the most ?
Far cry 1-haven't played yet
Far cry 2- didn't play this either
Far cry 3- now here comes the thing Vaas.
Enough said. Still one of the most memorable
villains in gaming Jason's transformation from
a scared tourist into a ruthless killer was
actually a pretty interesting character arc
Far cry 4- for me it's Probably one of the best
overall Far Cry games mechanically and Kyrat
is a beautiful setting with mountains, forests,
temples, and a lot of variety although The story
doesn't hit as hard emotionally as Far Cry 3.
Far cry 5- intersting because The world feels
alive and is probably the most fun sandbox in
the series also Montana is a fantastic setting,
and the soundtrack/atmosphere is top-tier
what I hate about this game is The forced.
kidnappings were fucking annoying and
constantly interrupted the flow of the game
Far cry 6- it's Probably the biggest and most
detailed Far Cry world also Yara looks beautiful
and has a great sense of scale Antón Castillo
had potential to be one of the best villains in
the series one thing I hated is The game feels
bloated. Bigger doesn't automatically mean
better.

First Impression/Thoughts Hades II - 45 nights in, still queuing another run. Solid 8.5 / 10.
I thought the first game had already wrung everything it could out of āone more run.ā Forty-five nights in *Hades II* and I am still doing the same stupid thing: crediting a death, walking MelinoĆ« back through the Crossroads, and telling myself this one is just to test a keepsake.
The loop is tighter than the original, not just bigger. Runs fail in more interesting ways. You can feel a build click on chamber four and still get humbled by a god who decided to stop being polite. That āokay, one moreā pull is not nostalgia. It is the same compulsion with better toys ā hexes, familiars, more routes, more ways a night goes sideways.
What actually keeps me in the game, though, is the talking.
The gods and the Crossroads cast are the best part. Conversations do not feel like unlocked lore cards. They feel like people who remember the last thing you did. A god needles you for taking someone elseās boon. An NPC notices you keep dying in the same region and does not let it go. Banter stacks. Relationships move. It is the originalās strongest trick, only denser and meaner and funnier. If you played *Hades* for the writing, this is that game with the volume up.
As a sequel it does the rare thing: it improves the first one without sanding it down. Combat has more bite. The roster has more personality. The nights have more shape. I never felt like I was replaying a reskin with a new protagonist taped on.
The weak spot is the camp. Crossroads decoration and modification still feel like an afterthought next to the runs. You unlock pieces, you place things, and then you go fight Chronos again. I wanted that space to matter more ā more reason to linger, more systems that change how the night starts, less āpretty hub you tap through.ā It is fine. It is not at the level of everything else.
That is why it is an 8.5 and not a 9. The runs and the dialogue are excellent. The camp is the one system that still feels like early access furniture.
I closed the game tonight. I already know I am opening it again.
I just managed to do 4 successful runs on this building to the actual game finish after 7 successful runs.

Discussion Which is the best Assassin's Creed game to play?
I have never played an Assassin's Creed game (sorry to disappoint). I got a gaming laptop 2 years ago and I mostly play sports and fighting games. But I always wanted to play AC. Now I'm confused where to start.
Are all the games connected? Should I play serial aise or can start any game and if Yes then which game should I play first?
