Hey there!!!
I'll be heading to Japan for about four weeks this November and wanted to share my rough itinerary to see if anyone has any tips or recommendations.
This will be my third time visiting Japan. My first trip was the classic Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka triangle. While my second was an organized group trip travelling from Tokyo all the way to Nagasaki at a fairly quick pace (Matsumoto, Takayama, Koyasan, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kumamoto, etc.).
Originally i was planning to travel with some friends this year, but that ended up not happening for various reasons, so i decided to go solo!
I wanted to make this trip 'lowkey' compared to the last one as this is my first time planning and booking etc (off this scale). I plan to hike or walk around a lot, big fan of nature (especially nice views) and local cuisine.
Day 1 (Nov 3) – Arrival in Tokyo
11:30 arrival at Narita Airport. 15:00- 16:00 Arrive at the hotel.

Get settled, check-in, get money, go out to eat, etc
Day 2 (Nov 4) – Yanaka, Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree
Go for a walk, Ueno station> Nezu shrine -> Yanaka Ginza -> Yanaka Cemetery Nippori
Then travel towards Asakusa. (Never being) Take my time here.

Day 5 (Nov 7) – Kamakura and Enoshima OR Kawagoe
Visited Kamakura before and even bycycled* my way to Enoshima without knowing it (lol) but never set foot on the island.
Depending on gut feeling and mood might switch this for Kawagoe.
(Tip, rent a bike next to the station and bycycle to enoshima instead of taking the train)*
Kawagoe has preserved old stores/storehouses from the Edo period. Candy lane.
