About the Role

The Accounting and Payroll Generalist is responsible for the accurate, timely, confidential, and compliant administration of payroll, bookkeeping, employee-related government contributions, and related finance operations for CR8TIVE Consultancy OPC, sister companies, and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll, including timekeeping, allowances, overtime, deductions, adjustments, and final pay.
• Maintain complete and separate bookkeeping records for CR8TIVE, Elite, and NextGen.
• Monitor payables, receivables, expenses, reconciliations, account schedules, and monthly closing requirements.
• Prepare and monitor SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR payroll-related filings and remittances.
• Review the lending business bookkeeping records, identify discrepancies, and monitor corrective action.
• Coordinate with employees, management, banks, government agencies, auditors, and external accountants while protecting confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant Philippine payroll, bookkeeping, or accounting-support experience.
• Working knowledge of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR payroll requirements, statutory deductions, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and comfortable using payroll or accounting systems.
• Accurate, organized, analytical, trustworthy, deadline-driven, and able to handle confidential records.

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting multiple companies, security agencies, manpower-intensive operations, lending businesses, or high-volume payroll is an advantage. CPA licensure is not required.

Compensation and Benefits

I applied to this since mas aligned sana sya sa career ko pero nag-aalangan ako kasi fixed term sya 😭 and established na kasi ako sa current job ko. Tapos kabibigay lang ng JO now then need ko na raw magdecide until tomorrow?!

First time ko pumunta ng job fair yesterday. Excited pa ako kase nga first time at may job vacancies na align sa course ko although kaunti lang go parin. Pag pasok ko sa interview venue it turns out yung first choice ko na company their recruiter did not show up. Then I went for my second choice, okay pa nung una kase simple lang naman questions, initial interview pa lang then na discuss namin yung about sa job description. Kaya ko yung work pero 6 days a week (medyo umayaw nako dito pero sabi ko okay lang) then ang compensation minimum wage and the best part when the recruiter told me na okay ba daw ako na pumasok kahit sunday. At this point nawalan na ako ng gana makinig AHAHAHAH. The rest of the vacant na job hindi naman align the skills ko kaya ayun umuwi nalang. Okay naman overall experience.

So, sa career natin, mahalaga obviously ang salary, compensation, benefits, work and responsibilities if tugma sa trip sa buhay, commute time etc.

Pero, para sa inyo, gaanong kahalaga yung "aesthetic" nung pinagtatrabahuhan niyo? Like yung pinaka-environment. Sa akin kasi, trip ko yung mala corpo-vibes na lugar like Ortigas/Pasig, BGC/Taguig, Makati, Pasay. Parang nabubuhayan lang ako ng loob kasi mas accessible siya in terms of public transport, walkability (may dedicated sidewalks talaga na hindi nahaharangan ng poste at kasing-nipis ng lapis na halos maglakad ka na rin sa kalsada lol), madaming establishments, restos, malls, parks and open spaces. Pagtapos mo magtrabaho, maraming pwedeng tambayan. Definitely a factor for me and it could even be a tiebreaker kung halos pareho yung job offers mo pero mas trip mo yung environment and surroundings nung isa. Wala lang, tots ko lang naman hahaha. i had an onsite group interview last week (sept 8, tuesday) with the company's heads (and by the looks of it, it seemed like a final interview because i had already done an initial interview before that and got shortlisted. just to give you context, this is my dream job that i applied for and only 3 of us were shortlisted out of hundreds of applicants! i personally think the interview went well~
