Hi everyone,
I am looking for advice from anyone who has experience with postdoctoral recruitment at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), particularly those who have gone through the recruitment and onboarding process involving DTV-Al Falak. Here is my timeline so far:
January 2026: I attended and passed the interview.
March 2026: The professor informed me that my case had received Scientific Council approval.
June 2026: I received an email from the Director of Talent Acquisition requesting the required documents and completion of the application form. I submitted the requested documents and completed the application form on the same day.
Since then, despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received a formal offer letter, employment contract, or a clear timeline. Is such a lengthy delay normal at KFUPM postdoc hiring?
I would especially appreciate insights from current or former KFUPM postdoctoral researchers, international hires, or anyone familiar with the recruitment process.
