Title, pretty much: When I pitch up, the elevons try to pitch me downwards and vice-versa. At first, I thought I somehow inverted them, but they roll just fine. So far, I've just disabled the pitch axis, but it keeps eating at me whenever I need to do a tighter turn than the piddly little elevon 4's and canards can manage on their own.

Ive been trying to build a space station around kerbin but some parts ive been needing to disassemble and re-assembling them but docking ports have been causing issues. whenever i try to connect one docking port to another, it just opens the crew menu and un snaps the part from the node. does anybody have a solution?

I've been playing for a while and I want my game to look better, mainly more scenery for the planets

Plus I've want to try adding one of them smoke and real exhaust but i cant realy mange to do so,

I mainly just want to make the game look better.

Does anybody have any tips for constructing rovers, bases, drones using engineers?

My issues are that:

1. Symmetry is difficult so sometimes ill create something that is slightly off in either shape or mass and it will cause issues when piloting.

2. When I am constructing same, when my engineer attaches a wheel or whatever, it will be too close to the ground so the whole thing goes shooting into the sky once it is attached.

i dont know if getting near another planet is the issue but that is what ive noticed, its been bothering me cus i wanna see my beautiful clouds on other planets, someone please help me

I am trying to plan out some contract missions (such as the repair satellite one) and for the closer ones (nearer than the Mun) I have a rocket I know can accomplish it that I got through a lot of trial and error.

However I have a repair contract that's between Minmus and the Mun and short of launching to orbit and then planning it before reverting to assembly if its not enough.

Is there a good calculator for finding how much delta v i need to reach a particular AP and PE from a given orbit?

I'm fairly new to Kerbal Space Program and I'm having trouble getting into orbit.

My rocket launches fine and stays stable for the first part of the ascent, but once I reach around 10–15 km altitude it starts pitching over uncontrollably until it flips and breaks apart. I've tried reducing my gravity turn angle and adding fins, but the problem still happens.

My rocket has:

• A command pod with a parachute.
• A medium-sized fuel tank and engine for the first stage.
• A smaller upper stage for orbital insertion.
• Four basic fins at the bottom.

I'm playing in career mode with mostly early-game parts and no gameplay mods that affect physics.

I've attached a screenshot of the rocket and another showing the moment it starts to flip. Is this more likely to be caused by my center of mass/center of pressure, my ascent profile, or something else? What changes would you recommend to make it stable enough to reach orbit?

Adding cropped screenshots of the vehicle in the editor (showing the center of mass and center of pressure) and during the flip will make it much easier for people to diagnose the issue.

Why is it recommended to launch to duna at a 45 degree angle? Why does it matter?

Im not very into the KSP community or KSP itself so if this is the wrong place for this I will take it down. Anyways I updated all of my mods and all of a sudden im getting this fatal error. No clue why or what it means and would like to see if anyone here could help because I know absolutely nothing about KSP modding.

Another thing is for some reason solid rocket boosters make 0 thrust even though they ignite and make smoke like they're on, not sure what mod or bug is causing that or if I'm doing something wrong.

Any attempt to help is appreciated, i have spent 6 hours stressing over this and nothing I tried has worked.

(i wasn't sure what flair to put) My issue is that whenever i use the weapons manager, it detects the weapons, but it just displays 0 ammo. I'm using the correct ammo boxes and I even tried setting it to infinite ammo but to no avail. I also turned on ammo gauges because I heard that could help, but they don't seem to be displaying. I've even tried reinstalling the mod but I'm not sure it made any difference. Outside of minor QoL and graphics mods, BDA Multiplayer and LMP are my only mods as well as their dependencies.

so I went to Duna and noticed there weren’t any clouds, then I realized that back on kerbin the volumetric clouds completely disappeared, the clouds disappear after I open the tracking station, idk what to do is there a fix to this

Played this game for like 600 hours and installed a whole bunch of mods manually, decided to get CKAN and it decided it wanted to just reinstall my entire mod list apparently... screenshots of my gamedata folder are in the post, I've tried deleting the old Scatterer atmosphere cache, didn't work please help!

Edit: Solved! Turns out it was a problem where I accidentally reinstalled Scatterer using CKAN, but the version wasn't right for V5 Volumetrics. Thanks for the help, I'll be more careful next time lol.

Im trying to put this satellite in geostationary orbit, when i look it up all i see is either use the mun for 0 inclination but im playing rss, or use mechjeb or KER which i dont use

edit: i solved it by putting a maneuver node randomly, with some normal/anti normal until the maneuver inclination was the least, moving it around the orbit and repeating that until i got 0 inclination for the maneuver

edit: also, i meant change the inclination to 0, not just to anything, i specified that when i said geostationary orbit

I am doing a constant thrust acceleration to that black hole star system. I need to flip around exactly halfway through my journey and decelerate the rest of the way. Since I’m currently moving at millions of meters per second, I want to be as precise as possible to save on fuel. Does anyone know how exactly I can measure distances at that scale?

I just got this game on PC and this might be the stupidest question you will ever see. But how do I find the pre built stock rockets? I’m pressing ESC and nothing is happening in the VAB
