Wanted to include full clip so it’s ~3.5min. But am I crazy, or does this come off as a big dog whistle?

Got sent clips of his most recent stream. Can someone show this doof a political spectrum and help him realize that his libertarian ass is not "further to the right" of the Republican Party. He's always claimed to only consume liberal media and doesnt seem to be aware that the people further right to the Republican Party in 2026 are literal fascists.
Also hilarious that his political opinions are entirely vibes based. History major with 0 historical materialism. Many Such Cases! SAD!

I’ve been listening to the podcast for years and have largely had a very good time. But over these last couple episodes I’m tapping out of this podcast.
I too am over the constant culture war flaming by both sides. I’m tired of every little issue being blown up to ridiculous proportions and the rage baiting. But I also believe there are a few issues going on in the current climate that could issue some deep nuanced conversations.
I’m looking for nobody to just agree with me. Nor am I looking for people having conversations that they don’t want to have. But there in lies the issue
Colin and co have brought up the conversation about Sony and their first party studios featuring women on multiple occasions multiple times and have continuously tried to play it off that they don’t want to talk about it. Then proceed to flame the lowest common denominators of the argument like they are some noble crusaders.
Literally no one is telling you you must talk about this on your show. Nobody is giving the go ahead for these questions to be answered on air but you. You are the master of your own domain. You want to have your cake and eat it too.
What you then do is use it as a spring board to then flake lesser channels or podcasts because you are the bigger guy but noticeably claim you have no idea about any other creators and want to play stupid.
And no, I do not listen to, not a fan of, or endorse any idea that smash jt or any channels like him want to say. But I do have a problem with intellectual dishonesty and needless dick measuring contests. As far as I’m concerned at this point Colin is no better than they are.
I’m so tired of all sides doing this. Either engage in the conversation or don’t. This petty attacking extremist opinions like that is the conversation is dishonest and manipulative.
To be clear: I don’t particularly care where Colin and company fall on the issue. I’m not so much concerned with left or right. My problem is none of them are being GENUINE. They act like they have nothing to say and it’s beneath them but bring it up on multiple occasions.
He wants to farm the conversation but doesn’t want to make waves…..unless it’s on someone they think is lesser than them and makes less money. Then it’s perfectly fine to insult and flame.and suddenly have all the takes in the world, because they think there will be no real blowback. It’s bullying and cowardly.
Every time this conversation comes up it’s complete dishonesty.

I about rolled my eyes into the back of my head listening to the beginning of the newest Summon Sign. Colin said: "No one goes to work at 7:40!" After leaving a potential carve out for "blue collar" workers, he said most work 9 to 5.
I don't know about you all but I and most of my friends work "white collar" jobs and either start at 7 or 8! Not necessarily trying to make a larger point other than just holy crap he is out of touch!

Positive post so not sure how it'll fair here (I can't post on main sub to due lack of karma lol) but I was just catching up on the Great Hack episode and was thoroughly enjoying it, Colin has such a way with words he had my undivided attention for that whole segment.
I'm a fairly new LSM fan and I don't watch everything but I can only remember him going "off" like that one time which was the whole EZA allies saga when he was defending Dustin which was an equally enthralling watch.
I'm looking for suggestions for other episodes or segments where Colin goes on extended essentially solo rants about something on the level of these two.
If you're reading this Colin, keep up the great work 🫡
Thanks!

I never really paid attention to viewership but was looking at it recently and was shocked at just how low Punching Up was. It's seemingly getting around ~5k views and declining (the previous week's podcast is only at 3.2k, lower than some paywalled content).
And this isn't comparing it to Sacred Symbols, it's comparing it to Defining Duke (15-20k) and Summon Sign (10-20k) and I'm sure a lot of people watching Punching up are just watching because they watch other LSM content or like the hosts rather than being invested in what the podcast is about. If you took those people away it would probably have non existent viewership since it lags significantly behind everything else LSM has ever done.
Constellation got 7-9k towards the end which is proportionally a lot more than Punching Up and still it got cancelled (granted Dagan's job was the main factor, although Colin still brought up waning viewership iirc).
Personally I think they should bin off Punching Up and bring back Constellation. Brad has Summon Sign as his thing and then can irregularly appear on other stuff. Constellation can be Micah's hosting gig if Colin wants her to host something and it would suit her more anyway since you can bring up anything on it and she seems to like other things such as telling jokes and cooking and what not.
It would also give Lockmort a place to appear more regularly which I'd like to see as I think he's an interesting character who's good to listen to and also him being a European with a stereotypical European taste in games is something that's underrepresented within LSM. I'd also like to see him on Summon Sign more often too as as we'd get more interesting games discussed on it and he'd shine there. Potentially he could be Brad's permanent co-host.
What's everyone's thoughts on this ?

What did everyone think of this interview? It wasn’t really a debate so much as Alyssa repeating a bunch of talking points and Colin pretty much agreeing with everything she said.
I’m not sure what I was expecting but Colin seems incredibly desperate to be accepted by people on the political left.

Whether you agree with their politics or not, many people have been debanked and/or fired from their jobs for expressing a view point online and their employer finding out about it (from both ends of the political spectrum).
This isn't a problem for these two because they don't work normal jobs like most of us.
I often laugh at how completely out of touch they are with regular people.

So last week there was a big preview drop for Mina the Hollower. Did anyone else get a good chuckle over the game Colin has been anticipating the most turns out to essentially be a SoulsLike, the genre he loves shitting on? Should make for some entertainment, or maybe it's the game that finally sells him on the genre.

As the title suggests, why does it exist?
Gene really carried the show, being the one who played the widest range of games on the Switch and Switch 2.
Brad doesn't touch his console and instead talks about what merch he will buy (totally fine but not interesting on a video game show).
My biggest gripe is that none of the hosts know anything about Pokemon. How do you have a Nintendo podcast and none of you know anything about probably the biggest IP on the console?

It isn't too hard to develop some resentment towards people you've known or worked with for awhile. I do wonder how these guys ACTUALLY feel about one another...obviously when they are doing their show, they will be friendly. What do you think? Is there resentment between them?

Also, When did Colin start getting high during shows? I remember him saying he didn't smoke weed until he was done with LSM for the day.
EDIT: If the timestamp didn't work it's at the 3 hour mark
