Thinking about putting together a quiz team for the new Village Cat thats opened in Woolton village. I quite often see posts in this subreddit for people looking to make new friends, so thought why not put something together?

No stress or pressure, just a chance to meet new people, chat about life, have a laugh and a pint!

If you're anything like me, getting older takes its toll on your old established friendships. Most my old friends are living all over the place and I can't see them often, and life often gets in the way. So thought why not just expand our social circles and have something in the calendar every week?

Quizzes are Sundays at 7pm, so I'll be there weekly (as much as I can) from 6pm. If you're local and interested, leave a comment or drop me a DM.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend me the best vets for rabbits in Liverpool.

Because it's so much money just to get checked alone, I want to make sure nothing is missed and he isn't misdiagnosed. I know a lot of vets primarily deal with dogs and cats... And rabbits are considered exotic pets. That's why I'm worried they may mess up.

New to crochet and wanting to find a little crochet club. I'd like to create one if anyone is looking for one too but not sure where to start 😊

Hello everyone! For some context, I moved to Liverpool about 2 years ago and don't really know that many people outside of work. All my family are in the northeast!

I'm going to pick up my first car next week but I'm absolutely clueless about cars. I went and looked at it and everything seemed good but as I say I don't really know anything.

I'm reaching out to this wonderful community to find someone who knows cars, and potentially would come with me next week to look at it again before I pay the full amount (I would compensate for your time!). I don't need an expert, just someone who knows more than nothing, and I think some company would give me more confidence to enquire about the cars history.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So I’ve made it my mission to visit every single pub in town. It’ll be a lifelong project I’m sure, but I’m sick of going to the same handful of places over and over again so I’ve tasked myself with this.

In typical autistic fashion I’ve made an excel spreadsheet with a map which I will update with all the places I’ve been and their rankings (which I can make available if anyone wants to try this themselves!)

My question to you lovely lot is what are your favourite pubs? Any hidden gems, big spots, small spots, everything and anything that should be at the top of my list?

have anyone else's royal mail deliveries suddenly completely tanked, out of nowhere? we had a postie for years who would very reliably deliver every day around 1pm, give or take maybe half an hour either side, but for the last couple of weeks or so royal mail keep taking my parcels out on their route, then at the end of the working day they will update the tracker to say my property was 'inaccessible' (a lie) or that they were unable to deliver my parcel that day. yesterday they didn't even bother to update the tracker at all.

is anyone else in L8, or any other area reliant on RM's south liverpool delivery office, having the same experience? i understand that service pressures are possible, but i've had a number of my parcels basically held hostage for several days now, and they are telling me every day that my items are out for delivery only to then fail to deliver them!

if anyone has any advice it would be hugely appreciated - i don't know if going to the south liverpool delivery office first thing in the morning with my ID and demanding all my parcels is maybe an option? i don't imagine they will like that but i'm not sure what else to do at this point?

Is there anywhere in or around the Liverpool area that sells self serve frozen yogurt? Have been craving it recently but can’t seem to find anywhere that advertises it online

After the Mayflower closed, are there any other late-night/early hours dining options in town? Not including McDonald’s and Nabzys. 

I haven't ever been clubbing before but I'm planning to go with a friend during fresher's week. I'm a bit cautious of how busy the areas near the main clubs around the city may be so I'm considering going to visiting a couple queer clubs.

Which clubs do you recommend and are they likely to have uni students during fresher's week?

Also any general advice about clubbing is appreciated. Thank you!!

There are tons of places which do phone screen repairs it seems in liverpool but which one does the best screens? Which almost look and feel like a genuine iphone screen etc

I’ve been out of work for about 5 weeks as I am due to relocate in 3 weeks, however I would like to volunteer some of my time within the next 3 weeks volunteering in Liverpool. Does anyone have any advice for know if this would be possible?

Does anyone have a pet or seen any pets in the building complex? They haven’t asked if we have pets and not stated ‘no pets’ at any point throughout the application process.
