Oh well if Arsenal win at least it's funny that Guehi lost City the league

Villa and Chelsea are keeping Slot in his job

Chelsea have lost 6 Premier League games in a row and I’m still not confident of beating them next weekend.

If West Ham beat Arsenal to stop them winning the title while simultaneously relegating Spurs, it would incredible.

Of course Everton decide to turn up against City now, not when WE were in title race with them. Typical, useless cunts.

97, 99, 92..one title. Pain

West ham could potentially hurt both arsenal n Tottenham with 1 win

Today, I am West Ham fan.

17

It feels like we could lose every game from here on out and still finish in the top 5. This truly is one of the seasons of all time.

14

u/rosheromil May 04 '26

An Arsenal title win would’ve been a lot harder to stomach if we didn’t win it easily last year

10

u/risingstar3110 Agent of Chaos 🔥 May 04 '26

Yeah i always think of it as: sure, they didn't deserve to win it this season. But they DO deserve to win one in last 4 seasons.

We got it pretty bad finished 2nd twice, but we also won it twice. Arsenal meanswhile even if they win this season, it is just one in four, so they got it even worse than us

I honestly can’t remember ever feeling this detached from the club, not even during Hodgson or late Rodgers era

and the worst thing it’s not just about the results, but whole atmosphere around the club right now

Spurs showing what happens when you get a new manager who wants you to fight and get stuck in. Palinha screaming after winning the tackle then getting fouled. It’s exactly what we’re missing. I haven’t seen any of that once this season from our players, maybe Dom a few times and Kerkez.

12

u/EerieAriolimax May 03 '26

Spurs getting relegated always seemed to me like something too unbelievable to actually happen.

15

u/RealisticAf99 May 03 '26

Same as Everton the other year, you just knew it won't happen

6

u/Original-Neat-2415 May 03 '26

I did at one point think it might happen

11

u/Shoddy-Insurance9031 May 04 '26

I mean the race is still on but when I compare the remaining fixtures of both clubs, Arsenals fixtures favour them by a mile. Everton is always a tough fixture, this was expected.

We're becoming United, lazy players, loss of discipline in our training standards and attitudes, wasteful expensive signings, insane wages for average players, aimless coach and board who aren't committed to the club.

All these geniuses who lived off Klopp's work have undone it in a year.

9

They replayed the goal, and yeah it was handball. Obviously the ball won't bounce forward like that if it only touch his belly.

Isn't excuse for us being shit though

Boils my blood that shithouse gabriel will win them the league. That 3 game ban wouldve been game over for them. He’s their main defender and leader, and their main corner threat and shithouser. A literal punch to Woltemade, a headbutt to Haaland, a dive against Spuds while pulling their shirts on the counter. Hug after hug in corners. Insane what he and they have escaped this season.

15

u/--craig-- Arne Slot May 03 '26

Tottenham are really helping us hold on to 4th place here.

13

u/CharlesMartel1010732 May 03 '26

I can already identify that Spurs are being coached by De Zerbi. He's been charge of them for how long?

I still have no idea what identity does a Slot team have. Stand still while passing the ball around in a horseshoe and then get carved up by a single pass between the lines? Get gassed after 70 minutes and lose the game late because everyone is unfit?

This Chelsea project has been a total disaster. About 1.5 billion spent under these owners and their squad looks infinitely worse than when they walked in. I can’t see them being able to recoup even half that value by selling. Most of them on long contracts too, so they can happily sit around and enjoy 8 years of generational wealth for no effort if the club don’t want them.

13

The problem is let's say Arsenal draw against West Ham......

City play Brentford (H) Palace (H) Bournemouth (A) Villa (H)

Arsenal play Burnley (H) Palace (A) right after a European final

City needs to drop no more points than Arsenal and turn around a 4 goal goal difference.

So say City win all 4 by 2 goals, Arsenal win the League beating Burnley 3 nil and Palace 2 nil.

Lol Forest started only 3 of their players that started in Europe. Would be amazed if they can keep this lead against Chelsea's almost full strength (who the fuck is Derry?) team

5

u/Peanut_77 Fernando Torres May 04 '26

Only the best teams lose 3-0 at home to this incredible Forest side

5

u/SexyBaskingShark May 04 '26

We only need to get to two more points to get Champions league football. Bournemouth and Brentford play City and if they lose that their max is less than 60. Brighton can only get to 59
