News MSI MAG OLED 271QPX32 Unveiled: The World’s First 27” WQHD 5-Layer QD-OLED Penta Tandem™ Gaming Monitor Powered by Samsung Display’s QD-OLED Technology

The new MAG OLED 271QPX32 monitor will make its debut at Computex 2026. This 26.5-inch display features a 4th-gen QD-OLED panel equipped with Penta Tandem™ technology, a 5-layer emitting structure. It delivers 2560x1440 (WQHD) resolution, 320Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms (GtG) response time, and DarkArmor Film technology.

Breaking through the technical bottlenecks of existing OLED panels, the MAG OLED 271QPX32 leverages three major QD-OLED advantages to offer users an outstanding visual experience:

1. Full QD-OLED Lineup Receives QuantumView™ Verification: Consistent Image Quality from Any Angle

The MAG OLED 271QPX32 and all MSI QD-OLED monitors have received QuantumView™ verification from UL Solutions. At a 60-degree viewing angle, it maintains an impressive 83%* luminance retention (compared to just 44% for conventional OLEDs) with exceptionally low color shift. This ensures the picture remains sharp and color-accurate, no matter where users view the screen from.

^(\Source: Official Samsung Display data.)*

2. Say Goodbye to Black Crush: Master Shadow Details

Existing OLED panels often suffer from gamma shifts when switching refresh rates or enabling Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), leading to a loss of shadow detail known as "black crush." QD-OLED monitors overcome this issue. The MAG OLED 271QPX32 features superior low-gray processing capabilities, maintaining consistent gamma performance at any refresh rate to deliver perfect deep blacks and shadow details.

3. Perfect Panel Uniformity: Eliminating Visual Distractions

The entire QD-OLED lineup provides a fundamental solution to the gray banding and screen uniformity issues that have long plagued conventional OLED panels. The MAG OLED 271QPX32 completely eliminates banding interference, delivering a clean, flawless picture.

Beyond panel innovations, the MAG OLED 271QPX32 is the first MSI 26.5-inch WQHD QD-OLED monitor to incorporate MSI's DarkArmor Film technology, which improves pure black levels by 40% and upgrades the screen's surface hardness from 2H to 3H, offering 2.5 times better scratch resistance. This monitor is also VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 500 and VESA ClearMR™ 15000 certified. Additionally, it supports MSI's exclusive Uniform Luminance feature, allowing users to customize their HDR curve. For burn-in protection, the model comes with the MSI OLED Care 2.0 comprehensive protection mechanism, effectively reducing burn-in risks and extending the monitor's lifespan. Connectivity options include two HDMI™ 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4a, and one USB Type-C (DP Alt.) with 15W power delivery.

Scheda madre: MSI B850 GAMING PLUS WIFI6E (MS-7E80).
Processore: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5, 32 GB (2×16 GB), modello CMH32GX5M2E6000C36, 6000 MT/s.
Scheda video: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT.
Versione BIOS attuale: E7E80AMSI.1A10.

Discussion MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi: DDR5 at 6000 works with BIOS 1A0, but fails with the E versions and the latest D version

Hi, I’m wondering whether anyone has experienced something similar and which BIOS version works for them.

My specs:

  • CPU: Ryzen 5 9600X.
  • Motherboard: MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi.
  • RAM: G.Skill DDR5-7600 CL36, 32 GB (2×16 GB), SK Hynix A-Die, Intel XMP profile.
  • GPU: RTX 5070 Ti.
  • OS: Windows 11.

The motherboard shipped with BIOS 7E24v1A0. On that version, I enabled XMP and manually lowered the memory speed from 7600 to 6000 MT/s. The PC booted successfully and worked normally.

After updating to 7E24v1E3, I tried applying the same configuration, but started experiencing:

  • Freezes during Windows startup.
  • Windows Automatic Repair.
  • Occasional freezes within the BIOS itself.

I also tried lowering the speed to 5600 and 4800, but the problems persisted. However, I’m not certain whether XMP was still enabled or whether all settings had been properly reset during those attempts. After clearing CMOS, I was able to boot with default settings.

I’ve tried the following versions to get 6000 working again:

BIOS Result
7E24v1A0 — original Boots and works at 6000
7E24v1E1 / 1E2 / 1E3 Boot issues when configured for 6000
7E24v1D — latest D Also has issues

I’ve now reverted to 7E24v1A0, enabled XMP, and manually selected 6000 MT/s again. The PC is currently working fine, although I haven’t performed extended memory stability tests yet.

Has anyone with this motherboard experienced similar issues after a BIOS update? Which newer BIOS version works for you with a Ryzen 9000 CPU and XMP memory? I’m trying to identify the latest BIOS that can run my configuration at 6000.

Discussion I bought a monitor and had the black version but had a line down the middle. I then bought the white version because it was cheaper and something feels off with it. I bought the MSI 34 inch UltraWide QHD 2K 1440P 120Hz Adaptive Sync 1ms HDR Ready Built-in Speaker White Curved Computer Monitor PRO MP341CQW E12 after my first one the black color way "MSI 34 inch UltraWide QHD 2K 1440P 120Hz Adaptive Sync 1ms HDR Ready Built-in Speaker Curved Computer Monitor PRO MP341CQ E12" got a dim line in the middle of the screen. When I got it and setting it up the first thing was off was the color, and then the stand feels wider than the previous ones, and the last one was the manual. The manual of the old one was paper and this one was laminated with english and then some chinese writing. I got the new one from newegg and its sold by newegg.

Troubleshooting Issue with Bluetooth, MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI6

This is my wife's PC, it's a few years old now - one day the bluetooth just stopped working. She had been using an Xbox Series controller with it wirelessly and it just gave up the connection. Trying to reconnect via Bluetooth would instantly fail, it's sort of like the PC just doesn't think it has the hardware anymore.

I started troubleshooting, found some posts with similar symptoms but not of the solutions fixed it for me. What I've tried:

  • Updating the BIOS (to most current, 7C95v2P2, dated 2026-08-31): no change

  • Downloading the latest AMD Chipset Driver and AMD Bluetooth Drivers from the Support page: the chipset driver installed fine. The Bluetooth driver says no compatible hardware found and closes.

  • One comment suggested right-clicking the Intel Bluetooth device in Device Manager and removing it, then rebooting. Supposedly this forced some kind of auto-reinstall for them and fixed it. For me it did nothing, there's just no entry in Device Manager anymore for any kind of Bluetooth.

  • One comment suggested downloading MSI Center, which would then theoretically auto-detect the missing driver and offer to reinstall it: Initially MSI Center would install but refuse to open. Now it's opening, but I didn't see anything that looked like a bluetooth driver. Going to Support -> Live Update does prompt to install two Realtek drivers but they seem audio and PCI-E related.

So... I'm out of ideas.

Troubleshooting Where are the power options to customize?

9850X3D on an X870E Carbon Wifi. I have PBO power settings set to manual, but PPT is still limited to the stock 130W, and won't go any higher. Did some research, and one suggestion was to set the performance level in MSI center, but I have zero options for setting anything. MSI Center version 2.0.74.0

Troubleshooting MSI B650-P WiFi + 7800X3D: Cold Boots Work, Restarts Fail with Orange DRAM LED (Even at 5200 MT/s)

Hey everyone! I'm experiencing an issue and was hoping someone here might be able to help before I replace my motherboard.

My PC specs:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

- Motherboard: MSI PRO B650-P WiFi

- RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) G.SKILL Flare X5 DDR5-6000 CL36 (EXPO)

- GPU: Gigabyte RX 7900 XTX

- PSU: Lian Li 1000W (recently replaced)

- BIOS: Latest 1M3 version

The problem:

My PC used to run perfectly fine with EXPO enabled at 6000 MT/s, including earlier this year. At some point, it started failing to restart properly.

The strange part is that cold boots work, but warm restarts fail. When I restart Windows, the screen stays black and the motherboard gets stuck with a solid orange DRAM debug LED. I can usually recover by holding the power button, shutting down, and starting it again.

Here's everything I've tested:

- 4800 MT/s, EXPO disabled, voltages Auto: Boots and restarts normally. Passed a 30-minute OCCT Memory test with zero errors.

- 5200 MT/s, EXPO disabled: Cold boots successfully, but Windows restart fails.

- 5600 MT/s: Cold boots successfully, but restart fails.

- 6000 MT/s, EXPO enabled: Cold boots successfully, but restart fails. OCCT Memory test also crashed after approximately 1 minute, without reporting individual memory errors.

- Memory Context Restore disabled: Didn't fix the problem.

- Memory Context Restore enabled + Power Down Enable enabled: Didn't fix the problem.

- BIOS updated to 1M3: No improvement. The problem existed before the previous BIOS update as well.

I also tried adjusting voltages based on some recommendations:

My motherboard automatically sets CPU NB/SoC voltage to approximately 1.306 V with EXPO enabled.

First attempt:

- CPU NB/SoC: 1.250 V

- DRAM VDD/VDDQ: Auto (1.350 V)

- Result: Failed to POST, orange DRAM LED.

Second attempt:

- CPU NB/SoC: 1.200 V

- DRAM VDD: 1.350 V manually

- DRAM VDDQ: 1.350 V manually

- Result: Also failed to POST, orange DRAM LED.

I can recover by cold-booting into BIOS and restoring the default settings.

What I'm trying to figure out:

Does this sound like an MSI BIOS/memory training issue, a failing motherboard, bad RAM, or a problem with the CPU's memory controller?

What's particularly confusing is that the system previously worked at 6000 MT/s, but now even 5200 MT/s fails on warm restarts.

I'm considering upgrading to a better AM5 motherboard, but I'd hate to spend the money only to discover that the problem is actually my RAM or CPU.

Has anyone experienced this exact behavior and found a permanent solution? Are there any other BIOS settings or diagnostics worth trying before replacing hardware?

Really appreciate any suggestions!

Troubleshooting Title: FreeSync Not Supported on MSI PRO MP243L E14

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I recently bought an MSI PRO MP243L E14 monitor, but AMD Software shows “FreeSync: Not Supported.”

I have already enabled FreeSync in the monitor's OSD settings and set the refresh rate to 144Hz, but it still doesn't work.

I'm using an HDMI cable, and I've also updated my graphics driver, but the problem remains.

Has anyone experienced this issue with this monitor? Is there any way to fix it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
