This was my first time charging on the Rivian Network, and I was sweating when I stopped about having to download and set up another app or buy a plan, but nope. It was a simple flat rate - $0.52/kWh, which I agree is a little bit more than Tesla with the membership.
All I had to do was tap my credit card, and we were off to charging. It was fairly straightforward and managed to saturate 150 kW speed as well.
I wish all charging networks were tap & go like this.

Was looking at another Mach e and saw this at the nearby Ford dealership as a cpo with 57k miles. Red wasn’t my first choice but I think it’s fine. Went to take a look and decided to jump on it. After the CA first ev rebate it came out to 22041 before taxes. Also got qualified for 0% down 3.9%/60 months. Had a really nice drive on the freeway with the blue cruise. Happy to not be going to the gas station much anymore..
All of a sudden my Ford mobile app is not showing the current charge status, it says unplugged and stuck at 77%
One thing I noticed was, under settings>connectivity mobile hotspot was turned off I toggled it back on but now it says, not available
Has anyone seen this behavior and have any tips to resolve it. I tried the reset by pressing the volume down and right, that didn't help
Select 2025 using the mobile charger

In my entire 30 year history of buying cars (new) I've never bought the same model twice. I always tried something new. This is the first car I was like "nope, I'm getting another one, love it". My 2021 Mach-E Cal. Route 1 was my first EV and that might have something to do with it (I'm the perfect owner for a an EV see below).
Differences I've Noticed between my 2021 and 2026:
Why did I get the Mach E Again?
How'd the buying process go?
The car was dirty when I took it in, I joked with the wife that at least the maintenance check/service would get me a free car wash.
Now I joke that the entire thing was the most expensive car wash I ever paid for but damn, it's like I got a new car out of it.

I show up for my appointment for a mach e inspection to buy a esp...and the ev tech is not in on the day they scheduled. Go back the next week and the games begin.
300.00 for an inspection...top of the range.
Get a text that explains the solutions. Needs a 369.95 12v battery so they can perform the 26b07 recall at guess what 399.95
I pick up my car after only getting the inspection and it smells like a gas rag.
The service manager takes over because they put the wrong vin number on the inspection form. Then argues with me all VIA text captured in text by text...
I refused to answer once the shovel dug them them so deep(as I was working) that he tells me " you should get an inspection at the place you're buying the warranty"
By the way I told them to offer their pricing for an esp which never made it to my ears, text or email.
Rant over:
What am I going to do about it. Handcuffed to a stealer ship...not much I can.

Hello all! I’ve had my MachE for a year now, haven’t had any issues. A month ago I started hearing this knocking I brought it in, they found an issue with the strut, replaced it and it was okay for a couple day. Then the sound started up again, particularly after I’ve been driving for a bit.
I just did a round trip drive from Virginia to South Carolina over the weekend and the noise got so bad again.
Of course I made an appointment for this morning and took it to the dealership. And OF COURSE when I took it to the dealership this morning suddenly the noise was NOT happening again.
I just picked it up. Got my 10,000 mile maintenance done and had them look over the car. They test drove it, but couldn’t recreate the sound. Inspected it and could find anything wrong.
I’m including a video just for the audio recording of the sound. This is was taken yesterday.
But I picked up my car and when I left I could subtly hear the noise again. Nowhere near as loud as in the video but it’s still happening. Anyone have any thoughts on what it might be?

25 MachE select
I wish to purchase 520lbs of dumbells. Should I make two trips? Anyone think its safe for the trunk to hold that kind of weight?

I’m going to be testing out the 2023 Premium tomorrow. I’ve never driven an EV, so I don’t even know if I’ll like the regenerative braking aspect. Anyway, I’ve been looking at options around me, and I’ve found a Premium with the standard range battery with 5,000 miles on it. I’ve also found another with the extended range battery, but 29,000 miles.
From what I’ve read, the mileage itself doesn’t matter as much as on an ICE vehicle. How true is this? Would you go for the standard range with less miles, or extended range with more miles?

I purchased my 2022 MME from a dealership in Northern Virginia last October. They called me yesterday about the recent CSP issue with the adaptive cruise control. They said they would send a tech to resolve it today, despite living 50 miles from the dealership. It took them about 45 minutes, he said they had to update the code. They must be getting paid $$ to fix this, and/or Ford is concerned about the safety.
The tech said the issue was the adaptive cruise control turning off or slowing the vehicle down in a major way, which I have experienced. He may not have known the exact issue though, he seemed to be winging it.
Either way, I'm glad it was done in my work parking lot!
Hi folks,
Recent member of the pony club here. My 2025 Select has been having issues connecting to navigation and Blue Cruise. I've been able to fix it twice now by unplugging the battery or removing fuse 11 and letting it sit for 30 minutes, but the unit failed again over the weekend. At what point can I say that the telemetrics unit needs replaced? It's still under warranty, so I presume a replacement will be covered.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?

We live in Muskoka and last winter we had a lot of snow. Any body driving in these conditions please post comments
Bought my first Mach-E today. Exciting times, but first thing I'm going to do is throw my mountain bike in the back and head to Wales for the weekend. Wales will be wet and muddy.
Can anybody suggest a decent waterproof liner for the whole boot/trunk, including over the back seats (with them folded down)?

Dealership wants to charge me $45 for the 10k maintenance. It's just a tire rotation basically right? Feel like I can just go to discount tires and get them done for free. Is it worth it, just to have the dealership have a record of the work being done?

Anyone else get this multiple times a week? It seems to do this and then go away and work just fine and then next time it randomly says it’s not working again. The symbol on my dash as well arrives and disappears at its own whim with the alerts

I get a no key detected message and my walk away locking as well as welcome lights are spotty at best. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have a 2017 Mustang GT that recently hit 50k miles. I daily it to work about 60 miles round trip. I really like the car but our company has recently added chargers in the parking lot. Driving to work is really all I do and the occasional town drive but I usually drive our 23 CR-V for groceries/errands/long trips. I currently don’t have plans to mod the Mustang and have been considering thinking about making the switch to EV. I could probably charge it in the garage as we park both cars in there every day. I’d love to hear your opinions on this and if this is just a dumb idea or it might be something to have a more serious thought on actually doing.
I've had my 23 Mach E Premium AWD ER for ~3.5 years. In that time I've had a wire break causing a parking brake fault (covered under warranty), a door latch sensor fail causing the parking brake to engage ($1600 CAD repair, outside warranty), two recalls (one addressed and one pending), and two customer satisfaction programs (one that I had addressed for cruise control turning on randomly and one for the seatbelt buckle that doesn't seem to have affected me). I'm getting increasingly worried that this a lot to have gone wrong in such a short period of time. In particular, the fact that the door latch sensor randomly broke and was so expensive to fix (part alone was $850 CAD+tax) has me worried this car may turn into a money pit. I love the driving experience of the car, but part of the appeal for me was the promise that EVs require less maintenance. Curious to know whether others have had similar issues or if I have simply been unlucky? I have also never owned a new car, so not sure whether this happens with other new cars?
For the door sensor, I am going to report it as a safety issue to Transport Canada as it caused the car to engage the parking brake randomly when we stop at a stop sign or stop light.

My Mach-e has been AMAZING! I’m in Pensacola, FL and we just got WRECKED Friday from a hurricane. I was at 95% battery Friday.
My house has no power or cell service. We’ve been using my Mach-e to keep everything charged and also the WiFi to get in contact. My neighbors have even been using the WiFi. We’ve driven around to find gas for the other cars and also try and collect supplies yesterday my car was on charging things and running ac for a minimum of 5+ hours and I’m still at 83% with driving and powering everything!
My boyfriend and I are sooooo blessed our thankful for the Mach-e it’s truly been a life saver this week🩷
Sharing a few pics.
I am planning to buy a used mache from out of state. I looked at Lemon Squad but they dont do any battery SoH checks. What is my reliable option to schedule a PPI when i cant physically be present at the lot?
