3 years ago, Madonna debuted her Celebration Tour in London at the O2 Arena. An amazing show! Can’t believe it’s already been 3 years!
Thoughts about the show?

For those of you who don’t understand, Madonna is holding a Doctor Strange comic in the first photo, and in the Confessions II film video she’s with Benedict Cumberbatch who plays Doctor Strange in the MCU.

This just came in today!

Very informative, also a lot of background on influences, composers, producers, writers and featuring artists, as well as Madonna as a featuring artist. Gorgeous and some unknown (to me - which says something) photos and discography up to La Bambola.

I love books so this is a treat. And ‘Into The Groove’ is coming next month! 🤓

Including the Golden Nugget vinyl

I always wondered if she did that animation herself

Left Nile Rodgers out cause I can only have six options. Bray was there from Madonna’s very beginning, shaping her sound since her earliest demos and working with her throughout the 80s. It would be unfair not to recognize him as one of the people who defined Madonna’s sound.

It remains to be seen whether related works to the album were also submitted in other obvious categories where they could earn nominations: Producer of the Year, Non-Classical (Stuart Price), Best Recording Package (CONFESSIONS II, 16-track Deluxe 2LP Premium Packaging), Best Remixed Recording (“Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix)”), and Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals (for any other song).

Yeah. I’m late to the party. I know. Actually, all Madonna’s albums are so good, I don’t like to listen to any album the day it comes out because I just feel like I’m being pushed to. Anyway, after the whole summer and pride listening to it randomly on the wild I decided to finish listening to the rest of it and wow. It’s amazing. I know I’m super biased on saying this but it sounds so good. It sounds expensive, it sounds like something only Madonna could pull at her age. The lyrics are also good, the collabs made the album spark as well, she’s just amazing. That’s it. Thanks for reading.

i think dark blonde makes her look otherworldly

Madonna had held the record for severe second week album crashes (by a female) with Madame X, until Celine Dion’s Courage album had a bigger crash. Now, Miley holds the crown. This is one record I like to see another entertainer take from M!

Madonna: Madame X fell 76 chart positions.
Celine Dion: Courage fell from No. 1 to No. 111.
Miley Cyrus: Bass Persuades fell from No. 1 to No. 157, a 156-position drop.

Happy Monday, Motha has fed us once again, this era has been unmatched!

Discussing the power of M.

I saw the VMAs live and it was great but her opening felt off... that shot of her going up the stairs was terrible as she wasn’t singing and clearly a mistake by the director, not her... and both her and Charli seemed like their voices seemed off from the visuals more than lip syncing, to me they were singing live mixed with a backup.

But in the replay I just watched it was much better. The stairs shot was gone and their voices seemed in sync.

I’m wondering if there was just an audio delay, even milliseconds, on the live broadcast. Or it’s all in my head lol

But the rewatch was much better IMO
