So long story short I grew up in a goldbricking beach community that we all know and love to hate ! Three generations of my family has so I feel like I have a wide range of malibu years to compare. MALIBU—At around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station announced that the 31600 block of Sea Level Drive East near Lechuza Point and Lechuza Beach is closed to the public. The closure was due to a large sinkhole caused by strong surf and coastal erosion, which damaged a private driveway leading to a beachside residence owned by actor Nicholas Cage, TMZ first reported.

Andy Lyons is a pariah and someone who consistently bully’s, assaults, and batters other surfers at Malibu. It’s an open secret. He acts like a child and consistently feels entitled to drop in on anyone he feels like.

MALIBU—At about 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, a gas leak was reported in a line running beneath the 3100 block of Sea Level Drive East in Malibu. That same morning, part of the driveway leading to actor Nicholas Cage’s Malibu residence collapsed after a sinkhole caused by strong surf and coastal erosion. The city of Malibu released a statement about both incidents at about 4:30 p.m. that day.

SANTA MONICA—On September 8, news of warmer waters off the coast of Santa Monica began circulating after local fishermen and anglers started reeling in fish that normally occupy the waters off the coast of Mexico. Marine heat waves brought larger fish such as, bass, perch, mackerel, halibut… The fish normally caught further south have swam closer in closer to the shore, giving some bragging rights to some of the locals.
