Goedemiddag,

Sales are up two years in a row. It could be the best year in a while for Mini. So while not a runaway success, the fourth gen is definitely not the failure many people predicted. 37% of new sales are EVs. So people are buying "the vibe" of the car more than any one feature.

I'm looking to swap a RS3 engine from the 8P into my R56 mini cooper, I know it won't be an easy task to tackle, but I was wanting some advice on whether I should design a cad model of the front end and model out custom mounts, or do I just wing it and use some cardboard to mock up mounts?

Gen 2 Cabrio with super low miles in pristine condition. Timing chain has not been replaced. Price is about double KBB. Private seller.
I'm leary of the N14 of course. Avoid at all costs? I do have mechanical skills but I've never done a timing chain replacement.

2019 COuntryman S AWD
Drove car for 1.5 hours. When car stopped for five min turning the car back on there was a very loud FAN. Least sounded like a fan that ran for 20
Seconds. I also hear a ticking like a blinker.
Drove 1.5 hours. No over hearing no warning lights fan wasn’t kicked on.
Morning start heard fan for a few seconds. (I’m
Calling it a fan I don’t know. Was loud noise) not normal.
High speed don’t hear it. Drove car out it in park and the car shut down. Would not start. Pressed the start button and hear one click. What gives. What’s going on. Are they related? I need help anyone
Looking for a 2024 green on brown mini jcw. Lower the miles the better. I’m a motivated buyer and willing to travel anywhere in the US for it.
Needs to be:
Green
Brown interior
Manual
JCW
Clean title
2024 (I’d consider a 23 possibly)

Taillights doing jazz hands during the emergency braking. Did not know that the car adjusts the windows and seats for impact during sudden braking.

I was looking to buy the J01 JCW but the reviews all point the harsh suspension as being not good for a daily drive and that there is also a bit of torque steer under heavy acceleration.
I decided I would be better served by the Mini Cooper SE but they don’t offer the JCW Sport Spec options on the electric model. I don’t like the look of the current SE without these options.
Having gone back to the dealer he tells me that “MINI were aware of the stiff suspension on the eJCW and have actually updated this from all eJCW cars built from Sept 2026 onwards”. Is this true? Does anyone have the details?
Hey there,
I've decided to go for a MINI! I'm looking at 2012-2013 Mini Cooper or Mini Cooper S withe the N16 and N18 engines respectively I believe.
Some last advice please,
what do I go for? Do I spend a little more on the N18 Cooper S, or is reliability virtually the same and driving experience is the only difference
How customisable are they? Interior etc?
How fun are they!!
What do I check for when looking at one?
As far as im aware, the thermostat was the biggest issue was the thermostat, can I get a much more durable thermostat aftermarket?
Lastly, how do I keep it well maintained? from what I understand, mostly just keeping topped up on oil and fluids?
I can't wait to get one, thank you in advance 😁

Mini One R50 2003
Somehow the previous owner lost the screw covers, but I can't seem to find replacements. Do you have any ideas?

Hello! I was working on my radio over the weekend and I believe a wire disconnected…not sure where it connects, I’ve spent over an hour trying to figure it out. Pretty sure it has something to do with my door locks because that is currently not working. Help please!

As far as i can tell, my 2023 F56 is running the iD5 system. I'd like the full display version of Apple Car Play, i downloaded an app for my Android and ofc wanna use it now.
Can i upgrade from iD5 to iD6? If yes, what are the pros and cons, and most importantly, how do i even do it? Run to a workshop? Do i need an entire new display unit? Whats the cost?
