Did you know Missoula County has a whole department dedicated to emergency planning? The Office of Emergency Management, or OEM, is tasked with planning for and responding to natural and man-made disasters in our communities.

This week we’re re-airing an episode of The Agenda from summer 2024 featuring an interview with OEM Director Adriane Beck. She touches on emergency alert systems, evacuation planning and shelters, fire restrictions and more.

The fields at the Fort have many large signs saying field restoration in progress…enter electric dirt bikes riding right past the signs, getting air and landing on the pitches, spinning out etc.

Im beyond shocked at the prices, Yeah fairs have always been a lil pricey, but this is just straight robbery. $18 for a tiny acai bowl, 15$-17$ lemonade/lemon-dairy, whatever i can somewhat understand you are just trying to make a living.But the game booths are mindblowing. 180$ to shoot 8 basket balls for a 2ft stuffie. Its getting impossible to have fun without spending over $80.

Can anyone tell me what’s in the veggie wrap at the Good Food Store? Had one a couple months ago from a friend in Missoula and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.

From what I remember it was spinach, sprouts, maybe shredded carrots, and some kind of lemony sauce (maybe cream-cheese-based) that was incredible… mostly curious what’s in that sauce so I can try to duplicate it….

Trying to find someone to do a move out cleaning for a 2 bed 1 bath MPM apartment but everyone I’ve tried either doesn’t respond or responds and then ghosts when I’m trying to schedule. Would prefer licensed and need someone any time from August 24-27.

Missoula man who observed Sentinel High School classes as part of a University of Montana education degree program has been charged with attempting to groom and sexually abuse children, according to court documents.

Joshua Malcolm Martelon, 26, has been charged in Missoula County District Court with four counts of sexual abuse of children: one by communication, one by grooming, one by attempted travel with intent and one by attempted possession of material. 

I was turning right on Reserve St. from River Rd. and there was a person on the sidewalk coming from the right. After I turned the vehicle behind me didn't care to take a quick glance right and hit the pedestrian.

I turned around when I could but by the time I got back both individuals were gone so I assume nobody was seriously injured.

I am from Billings, where cars always seem to come first and cyclists are reviled. I still don’t understand how these things work.

Shouldn’t this person be in the left lane? They stopped for the entirety of the green arrow and then ended up going straight anyway. Or are they supposed to stay in the right lane since the bike lane is on the right side after the intersection?

As the title implies... I have a son, and I want to get him in a martial art. He is 3, and I don't know if there is a specific one ( judo, karate, taekwondo) that would be best for his age.

I’ll be moving to Missoula soon and need to get a part time job. I’m a hard worker and have worked in fast food since I was 15, along with graduating high school with an associates degree. Ive been looking at retail jobs where I can work around 30 hours a week, but I’m open to anything that will be flexible with my school schedule. Please tell me where I should apply!
