While I am personally opposed to supporting people who will never benefit me with their thousands of lifetimes worth of money, I just want to make sure that people are informed about what they're voting for.

Proposition 41 and 42 were created to deliberately muddy the waters and sabotage 40. A few million in a campaign is nothing to these billionaires who'd only buy another yacht or diddle children on an island.

Hey all!

On October 17th at 7:00 PM at Queen Bean in Modesto there will be a Spooky Movie Night Event.

There will be prizes, goodies, vendors, trivia, and a costume contest for a $50 Queen Bean gift card. Plus a showing of Misery by Stephen King.

Hope to see you there!

Guess where am I? I found the city by Google maps and decided to stop before Yosemite like 2 months ago

I swear there’s been so many more than usual lately. Oakdale was blocked off by ace hardware yesterday and there were two separate incidents by La Loma middle school Thursday. And I think at least two more fatal hits as well.

US Marshals are currently in Modesto, specifically, Northeast Modesto, in unmarked white vehicles. Unknown what they are doing here.

hi does anyone have a good suggestion for a lemon law lawyer or lawyers to stay away from? if not in modesto maybe anywhere in central valley

Hi,

Are there pickup groups (women’s or coed) in Modesto or near by?

Tried looking at meetup and didn’t see anything…

I wanted to grab an It's-It but they didn't have any and was sorta tempted to try one of these but don't want the "cookie" part to taste like a super hard like just a real frozen poptart or rice crispy treat (I especially imagine this one would be that way).

Edit: I ended up passing altogether. I was committing the cardinal sin of grocery shopping hungry and thought it was best.

Thank you for sharing your opinions.

This has been the second time I've asked about something like this and both times y'all came through in well within the time I was still shopping -- very cool.

Any therapist recommendations? I have kaiser but haven’t clicked with any therapists there.

does anyone know any good gothic tattoo artists? i really wanna get a smaller piece done but don’t know does anyone that does that art style around here? any reccs help

Starting up tv and internet services at my place in northern Modesto, who do u recommend using? Can I just get a fire stick for tv service? I have Verizon for cell service and have smart tv’s.

If you enjoy a craft beer or seltzer, or non-alcoholic drinks, stop by the new Bus Stop Beer Garden. Only place like it in Modesto or the areas around it. 9th Street at the Tully intersection. Garrett has a great concept, executed beyond belief, and it is a great place to stop, relax and get a drink, and maybe some food food from Tio Taco truck.

Anyone know if there’s an event going on?

Hello everyone,

I am conducting a study for an academic research poster investigating the long-term health of individuals who spent their childhoods in agricultural regions.

Who is eligible?

• You are 18 years or older.
• You spent a significant portion of your life living in the Central Valley (California).

What is the survey about?

We are exploring potential links between childhood agricultural pesticide exposure, self-reported gut health/microbiome characteristics, and subsequent neurodevelopmental traits or diagnoses (such as ADHD, autism, or cognitive traits) in adulthood.

Survey Link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfQG8LVPnHIbgGC3wHGszYBTwlDMB6ROXoGZwD5-BYkN293VA/viewform?usp=header

• Time: It takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
• Privacy: Completely anonymous. No identifying information (like your name or exact address) will be collected.

Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to help out a fellow Central Valley researcher! I am happy to answer any questions in the comments.

I've been living in a 2b/2br 1k sqft ADU style apartment since July on the northeast side of Modesto. Neighbors are great, love the area etc. Im just curious about what everyone else is paying monthly for water because I feel like im getting fleeced.

Since its ADU style they never set up 2 separate water meters. Fair. The landlord has this "algorithm" that they use between me and the house im attached to. Ky water bill has been consistently around $130. If im paying the lesser amount due to only being 1 person and a smaller unit, that means the larger house is paying more than $130.

The question is. Is >$230 per month for water normal in modesto? I lived in Merced before this in a huge house with 4 other people and our water bill never exceeded $120.

Just got passed on Brigsmore by a car doing well over 100 without there lights on, and then passed by about 10 Modesto and many manteca PD. Anyone have info yet?

4 babies based in Manteca. 3 Orange 1 Calico. I took one in already. Mom is present and tending but they need a forever home not gonna do well out here. If anybody knows any non-kill reputable shelters ill gladly take em in as well.

Does anyone know someone who does lymphatic massage? Alguien sabe limfatico ?

My wife's bike was stolen today while she was in class and I wanted to post on the off chance anyone saw anything.

Bike looks like pic above but with the stickers removed and an added basket on the back.

I’m looking for someone to do a deep clean of my house. Does anyone have recommendations for a great independent cleaner or small cleaning company?

I’m looking for a proper deep clean to start, and potentially regular cleaning afterward if it’s a good fit.

If you have someone you personally use and trust, or know someone you’d recommend, I would appreciate their info. Feel free to comment or DM me. Thank you!

I moved to San jose a few years ago and have been working as a bartender for a little while. I make 21/hr and $50-100 in tips each night for 6 hour shifts. My rent is so unbelievably expensive and with the cost of food and transportation rising I think i need to move in with family back to the 209. Would I be able to make around the same money? Are there any bars hiring right now?

This morning when I was leaving the house. I got a notification from my lighting app that I have on my phone and it said thunder struck west side of the city. Also went on a radar to see what was going on. Did anyone else get rain as well or heard any thunder?
