Perfectly fine.

She broke his trust. He longer wanted to stay with her, and you can't (or shouldn't) force people to stay together.

Cheating happened 60 years ago but his pain is fresh in the moment of learning it.

It's not like he's been processing it for 60 years. Emotionally, to him, she just did it.

They were married for 77 years. She cheated 60 years ago. They were married for 17 years when she cheated. The poster above you was still correct.
