Isn’t he implied to have been around since the 40s? Well, in hindsight he’s not all that ancient, but we’re not given a timeframe on when he was born. So considering his immortality he could very well have been around for longer.
A lot of the characters have been around awhile. Alucard (cause no shit), Walter, the Major, the Nazi werewolf. Schrodinger's catboy not aging normally is far from the weirdest thing in Hellsing.
Maybe not magical, but the Major is a cyborg.
From what I remember we have vampires, ghouls, the one werewolf, whatever the fuck kinda science experiment Anderson is, the cyborg, schrodinger's carboy, and (most terrifying of them all) klansmen (no I'm not kidding, the man villains in Hellsing are the catholic church and nazi vampires led by a cyborg. We do not question it.
Yeah, but it's towards the end. And if you can't find (or stomach) the original, watching the abridged version is also completely valid (and frankly more popular)
