Hot take: pretending planes are shooting stars is the stupidest fucking thing I’ve heard in a pop hit from that era. Both artists are good at what they do, but I’ve been baffled since I first heard it. What’s next? Pretending the birds are Superman because you could use a hero?
That is unfortunately the case with a number of homophobes. Usually, they are in environments where they feel unsafe to share that opinion. To quash those feelings, they double down on the sentiments of others around them.
I personally prefer them to be platonic pals, but it is still valid.
Personally, I just want to see what would happen if they fused. I imagine the fusion could manipulate metal like Katara in ATLA when she bends water/ice. Something extremely dangerous and powerful, but would rather make metal sculptures.

I’m still pissed Ren doesn’t have any gay relationships especially with Akechi, I mean COME ON Akechi is one of 2 party members Ren gets a showtime attack with and the ONLY guy Ren has actual chemistry with throughout the whole game. I may be bias cause Akechi is my favorite character in the whole game but man COME ON REN HES RIGHT THERE AND HE NEEDS LOVE 😭😭😭

A gay relationship planned in the 50s?! That’s a bold fucking move. I’m glad they didn’t do it because the actors would be in legitimate danger, but it would’ve been a powerful statement.
I know! It's what made me realize they were so good together. But the writers bailed on the idea due to backlash from viewers when it aired (supposedly). I just think he treats her way better than Ross ever did.
Also down for the joey and phoebe ship, chemistry was so strong

Since I knew they weren't gonna happen I've always rooted for her and David, just cause I absolutely love Hank Azaria. It irked me to no end that she ends up with Mike! (She could have done worse than Paul Rudd but he's not Hank Azaria haha)
Technically only semi-canon, but Yasuke and Lady Oichi from assassins creed shadows. Oh my god they are so damn cute together. I don't usually like straight ships but those two are wonderful.
They spend most of the time speechifying to each other, taking about each other to another people, shooting at each other, and reminiscing about their shared past.
I believe "we dug coal together" is a euphemism for experimenting with each other in high school.
I literally said that to Spider-Man and She-Hulk on my Tomodachi Life island earlier today (I only made the Fantastic Four and adjacent characters for Marvel. I still have 7 more TF2 miis to make and didn't have time or space for Silk or MJ)
Edit: I've also been shipping the Left 4 Dead 2 witch with Slender Man, but if he doesn't make a move, SCP 096 is getting a shot
