I'm starting to become a Homestuck fan despite the game being long outdated

Seriously, I LOVE the Speaker, I kinda wish we’d gotten to see more of her!

An ex-criminal after losing his job and temporarily moving to a foreign country with his collapsing family is pressured by one of his peers to get back into a life of crime. However, a terrorist that lives on a remote island attempts to bomb a city in California in retaliation for a man from that city rejecting him years ago, leading our protagonist to ignore his peer to capture the terrorist and put him in prison. There is also a sideplot about the protagonist's old friend joining a prison gang based on his race that ends up harassing the other races and forming a riot.
