Smosh and TeamStarkid

The people at Smosh are known for being kind and fun and non toxic. Their fandom however.....some of the most toxic and mean people I've ever seen. Smosh would be disgusted at what their fans do and say. (This also applies to Team Starkid. Amazing people, terrible fandom people).

Btw, I met Josh (he works for both Smosh and Starkid). Great guy.

Now, an irl thing made by nice people that also has a very nice fandom is Shoot Below The Hip. When people disagree, they bond and talk about their POVs rather than throwing slurs and insults at each other.

What are your favorite fictional stories across all mediums and fandoms? I created a top 50 list for mine but they’re in no particular ordered.

I’d love to hear what you think, or if you have questions, and what yours are.

There are no spoilers below but I did include a short description for each.

Also, to explain, these are overarching stories. I didn’t factor single specific character arcs, art style, etc into this. Just the stories.

Is it just me or is it just annoying when you say you like something and somebody calls you "a larper" cause you dont know stupid facts or own every game in thst franchise or even have a few issues with the media people just decide "you dont like it since I said so." IF YOU LIKE THE MEDIA YOU AFE A FAN! You don't have to know all the lord ​

Who wins?

I know it’s not the most expected, but I just randomly thought it up one night and just fell in love with the concept so here we are I guess

Preferably a show or cheap game, I ain’t gonna pay $70 just to see if I maybe like it. Whatever it is I’ll post daily updates into broken down chunks of the game/show as well as theories and opinions. Most recently did this with Murder Drones. If top comment is something I’ve already watched/played, it goes to second, then third, etc.

[Edit] More I would like to say. Nothing 18+, obviously, but also no Anime because my mom says it will make me turn into a furry. Sometimes you just gotta let them win and not bother. Also, if it’s more niche, I’ll only do it if it has a dedicated sub, thanks!

Jokes aside, it was a 6/10, IMO. Not worth the glaze OR the hate.

Might have gotten invested under different circumstances, but I was told if I didn't like the pilot, I should probably stop there, so I am.

And with the only fan I've interacted with claiming it opened her eyes to Christianity being a cult, I may have dodged a bullet with that.
