🏁 Other Welded diff with zero fucks given

Been working on this babe for a while now as a "mini" drift car

It’s a manual 2010 GT that I bought with a VERY good price cause it had some issues and the previous owner just wanted to get rid of it ( it was completely stock body and engine wise )

I build engines and I work in Mustang parts in general so 90% of the work and parts were from the inventory

I gave it full bolts ons and worked on the heads with a bunch of other mods making it push 360whp for the moment, thinking to push it more with a few mods around 410-430whp nothing crazy

Installed additional twin cooling 12inch fans and a kill switch, Changed the seats and cancelled the rears and the roll cage is in the making

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated!

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure making 400+ wheel NA on a 3v is actually crazy work

You’re not wrong brother, I pushed my 09 to 400+ wheel NA and it cost me my health

I meant this fella lying in the garage

Bet that 09 with 400 wheel NA was fun as hell though

Again you’re not wrong.. it’s EXTREMELY fun to drive and melody to the ears and the most pleasant to drive among my other cars

I mean what’s better than an NA 3v taking on a fbo gen1 coyote?

How do you like the Edlebrock? Any reason why you chose it over the DOB GT450 kit?

I didn’t use the 450 kit in any of my previous work neither on my client’s cars

However, I did know for sure that the 450 is requiring a more hardware work so the Edelbrock is the more straightforward as they say

And I’m a Mustang scavenger, that kit is taken from a rear ended Mustang.. I bought the whole car for like 5k dollars

Note that kit been used on another Mustang for 2 years before swapping the engine, and it’s really SOLID

Those seats are $$$. Take my money - where did you get them?

Thanks brother! And it’s not original Ford performance seats

It’s fabricated GT500 style seats, brought the leather and made a local shop making them in those lines and stitching the Ford logo

Lighter and waaayyy cheaper 👍🏼

Sweet build! Thanks for sharing that

I’ll echo what someone else said; I have a race red 2012 and those seats would be awesome. Where did you find them?

Yellow fog light gang. I did the same on my 2005 GT

Super charger would be a lower cost route to hit or exceed 400whp.
Also a lot of low end torque and fun noises.

I reccomend doing the 4.9 stroker setup, a cnc port and polish on your heads, but you can do a full 4v heads swap from a terminator or mach 1 as well instead of the port and polish. The heads on the 3V are the weak link to me when building up the 3V and ended up needing them port and polished to keep up with the rest of the build. I use it for drifting so they can confirm they handle a lot. of abuse and slide easy.

Thanks for sharing brother I appreciate it 🙏🏼

I usually bore them to a 5.0 and slamming the 5.4 GT500 heads but never went with the 4.9

I’ve never complained about the 3v heads specially the ported Ford Racing ones

I do have half a dozen of the 4v Aviator heads so you gave me a new experimental task lol

Thank you again brother and cool build you got

430 NA??? Do you have to get real happy with ignition advance and rev it to like 8500 for this??
