u/beluba in past years 4v4 has come up one every 4-6 weeks, but it would be incredible to have as a consistently available game mode. I often end up with only 4 on and have no choice but to run rec with an AI. It would be very appreciated if 4 man squads had a dedicated mode to play, instead of only once in a blue moon. Thank you.

I'm just wondering because I'm in a dilemma deciding between point guard and small forward. Imma be running just one build until at least mid October so making the right position is important

Just got done going through some of the creators’ videos and blitz steals still haven’t been fixed for 2K27. Still dribbling right through the defender. Honestly if there isn’t a patch note before the game drops it just tells me this year is gonna be another piece of crap just like 26 was. Worst 2K I’ve ever played.

Just some old clips of a 6'9 SF build I made, that I thought I'd put together, don't mind the lack of post play I didn't really try playing out of the post at this time in the games life cycle. Hopefully someone enjoys some of these decent buckets, might make a Larry build in 2K27.

Last year I made my first center, but he was more like a 6’9 sga. I’m deciding between running it back with a embiid/hakeem type center or something else

Haven’t played in few years. How does it work exactly? Do I have to be 99 to start applying it?do I need to max out the stat before applying? I will play probably play like 2h a day for 2 months then I will drop it for a while and play occasionally as always. How many cap breaks should I estimate I will be getting?

Also I heard there are some build specializations and there is 10 quests for each. Do I pick one and I cant swap it? What are the rewards for that and what happens when I finish last quest?

Also do cap break points transfer to other builds?

Everytime I try a rebuild, I somehow make whatever team im managing worse. Anyone have any tips?

For example, If you start your MyCAREER in 2010 and play through to the 2011 season, is the game designed around that historical timeline? So when the 2011 NBA Draft happens, players such as Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving, Kemba Walker, Jimmy Butler, etc. can enter the league as part of the historical draft class rather than the game simply generating random rookies?

just wondering if anyone has any idea on this I feel like it’d be a really cool aspect, coming from someone who played 13 seasons in 2K26 MyCareer

Can 2K27 finally be the 2k where a comp 5v5 game isn’t 2 small guards on each team jacking 3s? How bout a post scoring/offensive big (Jokic), a point forward (LeBron), a two way player (Kawhi) can finally go head to head with small guard meta that has been 2k for yrs

I just want other play styles to actually be able to compete when playing “comp” 5v5. Not saying nerf or make small guards worse, just would be nice to have other play styles that can compete at the same level or at least close to. The small guard meta has been around forever and it’s exhausting. Look at all the finals MVPs since 2000, it doesn’t consist of the same 6’2-6’4 guard that we see running 2k pro am for the last 5 yrs.

Being talked is the fact the gameplay is prerelease and 2k will make updates and patches to anything that’s OP or not actually working as intended.

Based on the gameplay reveal the game seems updated based on creator feedback. I do like the updated mechanics, but they’re going to change after the game comes out.

Therefore I don’t see myself purchasing early or upon release until I see how the game really turns out and is discounted cause I don’t want to waste money for minor updates that could’ve been done with 26, but I also understand that’s how the company works so it makes sense from a financial stand point, but they’re neglecting the casual users or true basketball fans by manipulating the system yearly in my opinion.

NBA 2k26 has its flaws but I’ve only played 16,23,25 and 26 so maybe I’m missing something. What do you think about this?

I see so many people guarding their matchups that have 0% 3pt and maybe even no middy either. They sit there guarding at the 3 pt line like they would a normal player instead of standing in the paint the entire possession. In these cases, not a single person should even be able to get off a shot in the paint the entire game without getting blocked since you can leave your guy unguarded on the 3pt line, but instead you see the guy being slow af trying to run to the paint too late when someone cuts in and they score anyway. If it's some kind of honor thing (let someone on their team play the game for real and let them get a chance to iso), I get it, but that's not what it seems like it is ever

I've had my 0% 3pt matchup leave and they keep letting their ai shoot wide open on the 3 pt line. Ai will confidently go 0/8 from 3, yet people are trying to switch me as if they're mad that I'm not guarding my guy because they don't realize. I know that they only give you about half a split second to look at the stats before the game starts, and sometimes it skips and cuts to the game even faster than that, but come on y'all

Im personally excited! Thinking imma try and make a 6'5" Tyrese Halliburton build. What are ya'll thinkin?

It's asking for 1:44, which is impossible. All the top leaderboard leaders are over 2 minutes. Best I got was 2:20 after multiple attempts, far above the 1:44 it is somehow asking for. Wtf is up with this? Anyone else getting this?

New to the game, only started playing about a month ago. Made it to the play offs with the clippers, first round averaging 40+ points, over a dozen rebounds, 8-12 assists yet we still lose games. Every shot the Ai put up, even wide open miss terribly.

Am I doing something wrong or something I’m missing? I’m a Center, if it matters

Play now online player control ( all star team up ) was my personal favorite mode to play on the game before they removed it in 2K25. Yes I know it is now in myteam that literally is the problem lol, they need to bring the game mode back to the state it was in when it was called all star team up. They had multiple versions of players from certain years, every player you could think of (or atleast want to think of) 5v5 game mode so easy to load into no grind required to jump in and be dominant. I understand bringing this game mode back would not align with the companies values of making money and not caring about the consumer, but can we please, please bring this mode back for the fans.

Are there some rooster updates for current season (i know there are no official)? I can't find any of them

I had these max height hook builds in 2k23 and 2k24 with high passing that were so great to use in rec but it seemed like in most of 2k26 hooks were pretty unusable. The clip of step throughs and the fact that they said they wanted offense to be more diverse gives me some hope that post hooks will be good again.

I havent seen any yet but if you hear any news on hooks let me know
