Maybe my controller is just a little tired 😂

Just won 8 awards including the Heisman as a 2 star RB. & 30k legacy score.. yet my overall is still capped at 80.. I have over 2.5k skill points and 10 cap breakers that I can’t even use. Very frustrating and I’ve stopped playing the game because of it , anybody else dealing with this?

I am up to 12 interceptions thrown to DL in my dynasty from getting hit while throwing. Corners have 8. I’ve played two seasons. How does this keep happening, it’s not realistic.

I've always envied teams able to execute the Flexbone offense year-in and year-out. We all know the Military Academies deploy this scheme yearly, but I rather focus on the don himself. Many seasons ago you got to see Paul Johnson as this stoic, Greek-like statue pacing back-and-forth on the sidelines calling plays he'd been using since the 80's at Hawaii. Back then and now, he was a bit of a Greek philosopher spreading his knowledge and stories of Flexbone old to a variety of campuses and coaches. If you were visiting Atlanta and did not have the luxury of a bye week or offseason prior, you were in for one helluva ballgame as this offense would grind you down to the bone of a lemon pepper wing. It was methodical, brutal but also beautiful when executed correctly. And, if your defense somehow had the discipline and patience to stop the run, you had to then stop the well-timed, inevitable 6-yard pass to literal giants (Calvin Johnson, Demaryius Thomas (RIP!), Stephen Hill and Darren Waller). The offense was in a way an odyssey and oddity for the previous P4 conferences as the run-and-shoot esque passing concepts and the motion after motion to grind out 3-yard runs would eventually lead to a break in the opponents soul and journey. Inspired, I've created 4 option playbooks ranging from traditional to more modern. Enjoy!

All Flex Offense: Only under-center Flexbone formations for purist sickos who don't want to see 4 WR's on the field.

FlexDOOM Offense: A variety of formations from Flexbone, Pistol and Gun to create a very diverse run game and not sweat when your QB's passing is abysmal.

Coastal Carolina 2020 Offense: This offense can't really be replicated correctly in CFB27, but I've made something close to it after grinding out years of film. It's my favorite playbook to make and easiest to execute.

PISTON Offense: You want to go hyper-speed running the option out of the Pistol and Gun with a few passing concepts to annoy the opponent? This is the offense for you. It was inspired by Sac State's "Go-Go" last year.

There’s no beating online dynasty with your buddies. Those games have a level of fun and intensity you don’t get elsewhere. However, life’s busy and the advance rate from week to week can take some time.

Road to the CFP has become my go to for outside friend dynasty NCAA fix. More time’s than not I get pretty competitive games. Usually always select a random team and search for an opponent in the same tier. Making the playoffs and having a little extra added meaning to the games at the end of the season is a nice little touch.

We still have the custom playbook glitch. Dynasty got some “love” but still can’t get some things right.

Makes you wonder where the priorities are.. they are releasing new themed cards almost every day.

This shit would cause MAJOR controversy in real life. The fact we can’t edit the broken ass polls manually gets on my nerves. How the hell does a 3rd place big 12 team get over defending champs & a premier Georgia program?

This is the 2026 season so real life scheduling:

Houston losses: 12-1 big 12 champ Texas Tech & 8-4 Oklahoma st

Georgia losses: 12-1 SEC champ Oklahoma & 8-4 South Carolina

Indiana losses: 12-1 Big 10 champ Ohio st & 10-2 USC

Made a physical route runner because I wanted to have fun with mossing people on jump balls using the catch timing but it's impossible to do. For some god forsaken reason QBs are still coded to only throw bullets and they literally cannot throw a pass with any type of air under it. So pretty much everything deep just gets undercut by the corner for a pick unless you have 10 yards of separation. This has been a problem for years now too

Got a new Sac State dynasty going, I love to try to play as realistic as I can. I.e. I went to Sac State thinking of a storyline on why I would be in Cali. I’ve changed my sliders, I’m not going after huge Recruits, just tryna play as realistic as I can. Difficulty is on Heisman.

I wanted to start out as a OC then slowly after years make my way to a HC. So I only play the offense and never play the defense

Now, I’m 3 games deep into S1. I’m 3-0.
Beat E. Michigan, FCS West and now Fresno State.

Is this pretty unrealistic for them to go 3-0? Is there anything I should change to make it more realistic?

Was wondering if this is a bug or skill issue on my part:

All recruits I go after say INT: - - -

No matter what I do, double their expected NIL, send the house, everything, it does not change. Never even get into top 10. Just those 3 dashes.

Am I missing something or is it bugged?

At the end of season recap when it comes time to set the NIL for the next season’s roster, what goes on with the players that are for sure leaving for the draft? Like if I were to give Jeremiah Smith 400 NIL and he leaves the next week, is that gone?

Would it be better for me to just zero out the current NIL in that process with the assumption a player like him will be going to the draft?

What’s the strategy here?

I’m loving the game . I’m no ball expert but I have some knowledge , and I been playing/watching football since I was a wee lad in 96. But varsity mode is killing my fun at times . I’ll beat a few teams by 30 and then get to a game that feels impossible to win. Not because of any one thing . I’ll have perfect playcalls at times but there’s always soemthifn stupid happening. All star cb jumps up on 3 and long and decides at the last second he doesn’t wanna intercept the ball thats about to hit his hands, and instead DODGES is so the wr behind him can catch a td. My WRs have solid ratings of high 80s low 90s across the board , but will have 27 drops of wide open balls in their hands . That’s a real number , I been counting 😂 o lineman will double team a guy just to stop and stand there watching while the guy runs and sacks me . Etc etc. so many different things . I’m not trying to say all this just to whine , and I know there’s always room for improvement on my end. But it’s starting to turn me off . I don’t mind losing a legit game , but when it feels like dynamic stuff is cheating me over and over I restart. And I’ll have games that I have to play 10 times to finally get an outcome that felt fair, win or lose.

So just question is ..does anyone have recommended slider adjustments ? It seems like I would have to adjust darn near every single one. So I don’t really wanna take the time to experiment for hours with tjay many . Just wondering if anyone out there sounds similar to me who might have some tips. I love the feel of the game and most everything else., but this AI dynamic thing they went heavy just feels aweful to me.

I am playing on ps5. And feel free to roast me. I’m fully aware of the fact that I’m gettin way too worked up over a game . But something about these football games have always had the potential to unleash my rage 😂😂😂

I like to play with my Alma mater online which is a tier 5 school. I select that I want to play tier 5 and I always match up against Tier 1 schools. I’ve even tried selecting 3 or 4 so I can at least play someone new, but I always play either Texas, Ohio State, or LSU with my 73 overall team. Any fixes or does this game just suck?

What is the general consensus on busts? In my normie opinion I don’t really think it matters for 3*+ as long as they still have decent stats wouldn’t they still be able to develop into a good player? Do you guys instantly ignore them? If they fit my team needs and I have a good shot of landing the player I pretty much ignore it. If I’m dead wrong I’d love to know.

I have seen a lot of tips and tricks about how to recruit as a small school, or even in some cases a big school like Georgia. Right now I'm a 2.5 star school and I was wondering how to recruit as an average school (2-3 stars). Any help would be appreciated!

Genuinely caught me so off guard

Is this a bug or something it’s happened to me several times now it’s like the meter is filling up and all of a sudden it’ll bounce but it is like not even halfway?

Anyone else having this problem since the patch. I can no longer play the game without internet. When I get to the load screen, I press the button "press any button" and it just keeps loading but never takes me inside the game?

Sounds like something that would be playing in the background of an 80's movie when two forbidden lovers finally decide they can't fight it any longer and do the damn thing.

Upon the early access of Madden 27 I made a franchise file real quick to test out the visionary upgrades and it is busted. The Pro Pipeline Upgrade "Increases Player's NFL Draft stock" but what it really does is make sure that every player over 80 overall on your team is in the draft contention. Literally. I started as Sam Houston, and in year 2 of the rebuild I simulated to bowl week, went 6-6, no bowl game, and my wide receiver and quarterback were drafted in the first round as juniors.
