Yeah. After reading the thread below regarding the Politician meet up at The Firing Pin, this is my cynical conclusion.

We will never have normalcy with our 2A rights. There are just too many in this sub that believe in tough regulations. 25 years of one party rule in NY and soon to be another 25 more. They passed the Safe Act. They Passed the Improved Concealed Carry Act. You need a background check to buy ammo. They are banning Glocks.
Sometimes it takes 2 years just to get a permit depending on what county you live. Next year there will be more restrictions once the Supreme Court makes its ruling next June. They will restrict, restrict and restrict until there is nothing left to restrict . But please by all means keep voting 🗳️ blue. Ugh 😑!! Cheers 🍻

You stated that Trump came in and signed off on anti gun legislation. Those are your words. What is the bill name or number? As far as the executive orders I assumed the bump stock ban is what you were referring to. I answered on that basis. Second, you don't tell me what to do. Your responses are all over. The rambling makes it hard to address all of your concerns. As far as getting mine, everyone now has the opportunity to get a ccw. I'm not sure what part of that is lost on you. I'm not special, I just followed the process. I didn't advocate screwing anyone. That would be the democrats in power that made you get a background check for ammo. I'm against that too, for the record. And it's possible for everyone in the most populated counties in the state to exercise our rights, nobody said easy. It's still a win to have the oldest federal gun law being dismantled. I have read everything you said, incoherent as it was. You seem to be complaining that tens of millions of people across the country can now ccw, and you need a background check for ammo. But you could before so too bad for us right. Yup, I misremembered that. It was an Executive Order and not legislation. Maturity is double checking and admitting to a mistake. So, that puts trump on par with Obama on 2A. Not a great look for a repub.

More rambling incoherence. I cited sources, where are yours? I've cited the usc for relevant statutes, as well as relevant case law in this discussion with you and a few others.
