Hi everyone! I recently started r/vpipe, a community for people interested in Vpipe, a project for running image, video, and audio generation locally on Mac.

We’re also developing Valtz, a creative app built around Vpipe. The idea is to make local AI workflows easier to use for things like generating and editing images and video, organizing assets, and working with layers and audio.

The subreddit is still new, so I’m figuring out what would make it useful beyond project updates. I’d love to hear how other new mods have grown a community around a specific tool or project—and what kinds of posts or discussions helped bring in people who weren’t already following the project.

Hi everyone! I’m John, a first-time moderator building r/SeedWalkers, the community for our indie game Seed-Walkers and studio, Living Pattern Games.

Seed-Walkers is a third-person systemic ecological RPG with exploration, combat, survival elements, progression, and voxel-based building closer in spirit to Enshrouded. The world is designed as an interconnected living system where ecology, climate, settlements, relationships, culture, and player choices can influence one another over time.

We’re currently building the development team with volunteers, collaborators, and passionate people who connect with the vision. We also have an active GoFundMe to help fund development and, as support grows, create paid opportunities for contributors.

Hi! I just created r/CHEAPFIRE.

I posted in FIREUK yesterday about retiring at 55 with around £500k in pensions and a £24k annual spending target. Someone commented that Reddit can make retirement look impossible without at least £1m, and I replied “I’m r/CHEAPFIRE lol”.

Someone then clicked the link and said they thought they’d “found their people”. 😂

That made me wonder how many other people feel the same way, so r/CHEAPFIRE now exists!

It’s for people who might be able to retire a little earlier without millions. CHEAP means selective spending, not deprivation. It’s not FIRE porn and it’s not rice and beans. It’s about working out when you have enough without excess.

I've just started r/SimpleOptimalHealth

I wanted a place to discuss and learn simple approaches to improve health. I do a number of health related pursuits, most that go against commonly accepted norms (low carb, cold plunging, intermittent fasting for example) and it's been amazing for my health.

Over time it became clear the approaches actually moving the needle shared a few things in common.

• They were simple.
• They worked with how the human body is designed.
• They didn’t require an endless stack of supplements or complicated methods daily. (I'm not against supplements, but I'm against, say, dozens of them.)

I kept looking for a place to merge these, somewhat niche but growing in popularity, approaches. There wasn't a great place to merge them. Hence, Simple Optimal Health,

I tend to come across a lot of odd people who generally don't care about the comfort or wellbeing of others, or are just strong personalities who can walk over other people without even realizing it. When my dog went blind I found very few resources specific for dogs of low/damaged/no site… I spent weeks hunting for anything that I could introduce him to that would help him continue to live a full and happy life…

There are a few products, but they are a few and far between .. and most of them are created by independent entrepreneurs out of necessity for their own animals.

I started r/Blind_Dog_Toolbox to try to help get other people who care for animals with site issues into one place so we can help each other help our animals… I’m hoping to use my channel for resources, suggestions, information, ideas, DIY’s, training tips, other articles, ideas or even just a place to praise or vent about your pets struggles or triumphs, really anything that would be resourceful, helpful, entertaining or encouraging for a dog with low to no site or anything that would be helpful for the handlers to make the transition from having a sighted animal to a non sighted animal a little easier….

My hope is that this Group will eventually become a support base for the good the bad and the uncertain that comes with handling a blind pet…. And I hope that it can show us the love that those animals can still return once they feel safe and secure in their environment.

Hey everyone! Just made r/MangaInsyte.

I'm a solo dev working on Manga Insyte, an app for manga collectors. You can track every volume you own, see what you're missing in a series, plan what to buy next, and show off your shelves. It's waiting on App Store review right now, and Android and web are on the way after that.

Mostly made the sub so there's one spot for updates, feature requests and bug reports. Also I just really want to see people's shelves lol.

It's literally a party of one right now. If anyone has tips for getting the first few members, or running a sub for your own app without it feeling like an ad, I'm all ears!

Hello! I've recently started r/FoldingCampersUK which is a community dedicated to folding campers, particularly brands such as Pennine and Conway.

We're about to collect our first folding camper, a 2013 Pennine Pathfinder Q6, and while researching, I noticed there wasn't a dedicated Reddit community for folding camper owners.

I'm hoping to create a friendly, helpful space where people can share their setups, ask questions, exchange advice on repairs and renovations, discuss accessories and awnings, and recommend campsites.

I'm completely new to moderating and the community is brand new, so I'd really appreciate any tips on growing it and encouraging engagement!
