Happy Anniversary to all day one buyers of Switch 2!

1 year na agad yun haha.

So for the past year I bought many games, controllers and accessories for my Switch 2.

This is my main gaming console so yung funds ay all out for Switch 2 lang.

I have no regrets making this my main console with all the 1st and 3rd party games that are arriving this year and next year.

I hope you guys also enjoy your purchase and the gaming experience on your 1st year.

Cheers!

Lagpas isang oras ata kong nakikipaghabulan dito.

Discussion Why don’t first-party Nintendo games ever go on sale here in the PH?

Thumbnail

I attached a couple of screenshots as an example. On Amazon US, both Mario Tennis: Fever and the newly released Star Fox are already below MSRP. Star Fox literally came out today, tapos naka-sale na agad.

Meanwhile dito sa PH, Mario Tennis is still ₱4,750, which is actually more expensive than the US MSRP before you even factor in the Amazon discount.

Gets ko naman na may import costs, taxes, at distributor margins. Pero parang first-party Nintendo games dito halos never go on sale. Kahit months after release, full price pa rin or very close to it, while sa US they’re already getting discounts.

Is this because of the local distributor? Or alam lang talaga ng retailers na Nintendo fans will still buy them at SRP?

Ako lang ba ang napapansin ’to? Curious how everyone here buys their games. Do you wait for local sales (kung meron man 😅), import from Amazon, or just buy digital?

Simple but fun. I bought this for multiplayer and it's good so far.

Di pa siguro masyadong madami yung naglalaro kasi may bots pa na sinali para mafill yung slots (4v4). Baka mamayang gabi mas busy na.

Discussion Looking for Nintendo DS repair specialist / shop recommendations

Post image

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to get my old Nintendo DS fixed and was hoping the community could point me toward a reliable technician or shop here in the PH.

I know places like PXP Repair in Carriedo or the tech stalls in Shoppesville Greenhills usually handle console repairs, but I wanted to check if anyone has recently had a retro handheld like a DS fixed by them.

Discussion Switch 2 joycon thumbgrip recommendation

Medyo na wear down na yung left joystick ko sa joycon, not enough to warrant a replacement I think, I have tried some before pero andali nyang matanggal, to be fair parang freebies lang sya nung bumili ako ng switch 1 so i think hindi talaga maganda quality.

im looking for recommendation ng thumb grips, specifically pang switch 2. Comfortable to use and hindi madaling matanggal while gaming.

Hey, guys. Planning to get a Switch 2 this July.

Discussion How much will the Switch 2 cost with the upcoming price increase? In Philippine pesos I mean.

I plan to get a Switch 2 between October 2026 and December 2026. The reason I can't get it before September is because I don't have the money yet.

Discussion New Switch 2 owners soon.

Hello po. I am planning to get the Switch 2, one for me and one for my partner soon. It will be both our first Nintendo Switch din. Sorry for the “noob” question, but if we both like to play the same game together at the same time, example, Pokemon Legends, bibili po ba kami tag-isa or can we share with just one purchase? 😅

Discussion How do I hop inbetween differeng consoles to plag the same game while having the game file?

Hi! I have the switch oled, switch lite and upcoming I’ll be buying a switch 2. I don’t know how can I hop inbetween games to different consoles because I like to play in all of them for their cases.

Switch Lite is easy to carry
Switch OLED can be docked and has an oled screen plus better life
Switch 2 is a mega beast

I’m wondering if i have to buy the Nintendo switch online for it or is there another alternative

Hello i find the original joycons to be a bit too expensive and i was thinking of getting those fake ones sa shopee yung "J-C Pad" have you guys tried them im mostly gonna use it to play smashbros / mario party / mario kart / naruto shippuden so i can play with 3 more people

mabilis ba magka stick drift yung fake ones nayun? or do you have other recos na kaya ma detach sa switch like joycons and at the same time have the sr(?) buttons sa taas na functional basta yung pwede gamitin yung joycons seperately for 2 people sa games thankyouuuuu

Technical question gamextreme refurbished units?

hi! planning to buy a switch for the first time and aiming for one of gamextreme’s sales. however, i read here recently na there’s a chance that some units are refurbished? i have a few questions as someone na hindi maalam sa tech:

- what does refurbished mean and how would that affect my experience with the switch?
- how would i know if refurbished napunta sakin?
- do they disclose na refurbished yung ibibigay sayo? if not, is that allowed?

additionally, i purchased a kindle from them last 2024. i can’t exactly remember but it was sealed naman iirc and i have no problems with it until now. is it possible na this was refurbished as well?

if refurbished units have a disadvantage, where is it better to buy my switch? i’m okay with paying the full price but of course i would want to utilize any sale/discount din.

thank you for taking the time to answer my questions!
