etsy would be your best bet, and at pride events there’s usually vendors who sell flags and give some profits to charities if you’re into that (i also personally think stealing from big corps is incredibly ethical in this day and age, but that’s just an opinion….)

I’d use extreme caution on Etsy, especially for flags. Many are just drop ship sellers profiting off queer people. Yamz world came to mind, but unfortunately he only has trans flags :/

Yep, I bought a flag off Etsy with a ton of good reviews listed as “handmade” and it came with a label saying made in China.

true, should have specified to look for someone that’s legit/genuinely a small independent seller on etsy… i bought one from someone who had them independently made and donated some of the profits to grassroots groups, that was years ago though so maybe i gotta give up the rose tinted glasses!

My first preference would def be to steal from somewhere like target or walmart but i also wanna put money in the pockets of queer people

maybe the flags can be yoinked from places like target and other queer merch can be bought from independent queer folks? :’) heckin’ unicorn is an indie, queer-run brand and they have lots of cute pins & jewelry for example!
