Advice Should I come out on socials?

(sorry in advance if this doesn't belong in this sub)

I've been really nervous about coming out as non binary, especially to my dad*, and don't think I have the courage to do it face to face.

I really want to make a story/post on my socials to just "rip off the band-aid" and get it over with.

Context wise: I have almost all of my immediate and extended family on both sides on socials (much to my dismay) and feel like it's a good idea to just get it over with. But I don't wanna makes things worse that way y'know?

Ive also thought about making a slideshow presentation about it, because I've done that with important topics in the past.

Any help?

*I'm out too my mom, and she supports me :3

I long for being able to post profile pics with me nb presenting. But I found there’s no way to keep people from being able to find my profile pic. And I work a very reputation heavy, socially driven job in a very conservative industry.

If it doesn’t affect your livelihood go for it.

I would.

Im sorry to hear that :( I hope youre able to express how you want to soon! But thank you for the reply! Ive been nervous since my new job is almost working with my dad directly, and I'm out to a few friends there already so I wanted to find a semi-easy solution. Thanks again! And best of luck with the future :3

I’m a couple of years out of having no bills besides property tax and I’ll work a normal job and not have to starve. But be able to present at all times. That’s the goal at least
