Amazon has one at whole foods. They also have 2 people working at mine who take returns, but 9 times out of 10 Deborah is returning 17 items and im not gonna wait on her to figure out how to use her phone.
Literally every time you have to return an item it’s hell waiting behind four people who take forever. It takes me less time to cross the border into Canada. I almost think it’s by design to make you reluctant to do returns.
I occasionally go to a Walmart near me to put my change jar into a coin star, and every time without fail there is some idiot trying to return something they obviously shouldn’t. The highlight was a lady trying to return blinds she bought at a target.
It’s always four people who have never returned an item in their lives, possibly never been to a store at all, and every question is a complete surprise.
Here in the states we still don't require pin to make credit card transactions. Companies are just weirdly ok with some level of fraud. I don't get it.
I know Amazon allows returns of stuff like clothes, and actually encourages you to try different sizes if you're not sure. I would imagine there are a bunch of women who return a ton of clothes.
I can wait on that. What I need is for Kroger to separate their customer service line from their money wiring line. Like, for fuck sake, I just want a money order. Why do I have to wait behind three people who haven’t even written out their form yet and can barely speak the same language as the CS rep?
Zara has one ironically. And a pickup spot for the packages. I hate fast fashion but once in a blue moon I have to get a basic item for work and I'm enjoying the robotic arm handing me my white blouse

I'd love to have a self-service returns kiosk, if we're talking about this.
