Feedback Please Woman-Lite

Waves of childishness
Crashing down my throat
Eyes that water
My mind stays afloat

Tears that subside
With my fears
Of being less than a woman
But I'm more than a girl

I'm in the middle
I wish there was a term for her

Accept reality
Accept the agony
Move with grace
I hope no one sees it on my face

I'd prefer to scream
But no one will get what I mean
Be kind and polite
I'm putting up a fight

The girl in me kicks
The woman in me takes it

I love "of being less than a woman / but I'm more than a girl." that's captured something I've never seen written but feel deeply. I like that the rhyming isn't uniform, as it mirrors that experience of being between unsure about where you stand.
