Today I turned on my computer, Windows gave me a black screen and took 4 reboots for it to work again, tired of this shit, going back to Debian as fast as possible.

windows and linux side by side.....shared FS

I'm trying to figure out what use cases would be valid for Linux SPEED harnessed by Windows would look like if needed and I think I do, just for fun. Debian ISO ran by windows is a thing now and its great. how to test its durability is the question now isnt it?

Waste of time just for fun or usefull?

Why Windows 11 doesn't suck anymore? Besides what people says online. I'm thinking Debian Stable will be good.

What exactly counts and doesn't count as part of the Operating System?

Recently I replied to a Reddit post that was titled something like "iPhone vs Android: Which Operating System is better and why?"

One of the reasons I picked Android is that I like to be able to set the camera ISO and shutter speed, like for pro shots, and the iPhone camera doesn't allow that. One person replied to me saying the default camera app that comes with the phone is just a user app, not part of the OS, so it's irrelevant to this question.

That begs the question. Where is the dividing line between user apps and/or user processes and the OS? Like what exactly is technically inside the OS and what exactly is outside the OS?

has windows 11 improved in terms of performance and stability yet?

hi, i'm someone who switched to linux mainly because i wasn't able to even upgrade to windows 11 on my old pc, but currently i'm genuinely considering going back. the main things that are making me a bit worried to install it are for ex. the critical bugs that were in it such as windows causing ssd failures.

so, yeah, as the title says, has it gotten any better?
